I have not seen series 10 yet. But i doubt that all episodes are that bad. Well, let this be a fair warning to you. Series 10 is 99.99% worthless dung and should NEVER be watched. (the ONE good moment is when "Bill" is unceremoniously killed off). If you fail to heed it, don't cry foul when your memories of the Twelfth Doctor are forever ruined by the experience of watching that tripe. BTW, here are some internet comments from various fans who made the mistake of watching "Series 10" and CAN vouch for how awful it was from PERSONAL experience: Post by Guitar King (389) Steven Moffat's.. last season was just a blatant left wing political agenda designed to brainwash young viewers. Viewers don't want to be preached to, so it's no wonder the ratings have crashed and burned. I hope the new show runner puts the show back on course.
Post by Emergan (20) More like Doctor Poo... Because this show is shit, amiright?
Post by HATheLaughingManHA Decided to see if Doctor who he gotten any better or if Bill has grown as a character Scene Bill and 9th legion Roman soldiers sitting around Bill: oh no sorry I only like girls Once again her lesbian traits are shoehorned into every ep. Worst character ever!!
Post by LYDIAONTARIO I agree with you about Dr Who! They already had the lez lizard woman and her “wife”. I am done with the show!
Post by RabidBartender I was already turned off when they turned the Master into a woman, but hearing about the new Doctor's companion made me skip my first season since the reboot. Steven Moffatt really screwed the show up.
Post by cowboyusa This season was horrible, and she was the most annoying companion since Mel.
Post by PIF With the loss of Jenna, a beauty, and the addition of Bill, and ugly lesbian crow (the ugliest companion ever - and perhaps the only one who is ugly), Who has gone so far downhill, it has become unwatchable; Capadi addition helped the slide into oblivion. Bill is one of those people that once seen can never be unseen ...
Post by docb30tnSmith Bill is dragging the feeling and overall atmosphere of the ENTIRE season so far. If ANY person or character is introduced by their sexuality like she was before anything else, she's a POOR, horribly written character. It's not 'progressive' or innovative to create a character based on this. She has a job serving 'chips' at a university. Not too bright and the obvious could easily be seen by a better, well written character. Donna was so horrible and bitchy she only lasted on season; and they wiped her memory!! HA HA HA.
Post by weirdraptor Where has it gone wrong? I think they're trying too hard to be "important" and leave a mark on popular culture with how "relevant" they are when the themes should just come naturally. I also think its time to just drop the Story Arc format for a while. The original Doctor Who survived for 26 years with The Doctor just having adventures in Time and Space with only the occasional Arc. The Revived Series can survive a Series/Season or two away from them. In all, I think its time for the New Series to start looking at what people liked about the old series more.
Post by pk9 Bill is like that kid who got in to all 8 Ivy league schools TWO different offers to travel all of time and space in the same episode. One as a noncorporeal being but still, she got to choose. What are your feelings about the character so far? I mean, we've only seen her onscreen for what amounts to an hour so far and my thoughts of her are: Meh
Post by nogbad My take on the new series isn't all that favourable, as it happens. To sum up - Capaldi good, stories non-existent, Moff completely out of ideas. about SJWs or John Kerry when discussing light entertainment tv shows. So time for a change, I agree. I'm not convinced by Chibnall's track record, incidentally, but am looking forward to at least giving him a chance to impress.
Post by Larcen26 Well...to be fair, Moff has ideas... They are just the same ideas he has had since Blink...That the things you can't see are the scariest. (Weeping Angels, The Silence, The Doctor goes blind, etc...) I'd forgotten that Blink was him, there's been a lot of urine under the bridge since then. I have a perhaps unreasonable (though heartfelt) dislike of River Song and all her one-dimensional, hammy doings, so hold him responsible for that too. He reminds me of an incontinent Pekinese attempting to bring down a buffalo.
Post by StarMan Since NuWho started I've dutifully tuned in each week. Well, that was the straw that broke the camel's back. I'll be back for the finale. What utter dreck. Post by StCoop If I live to be a 100 it would still be too soon for another sodding power of luv saves the day ending. the series has really nose dived over the past few weeks and I'm just so happy that 5 more episodes and Moffat's gone for good. But the annoying thing is that his resignation still won't have meaningful effect for well over a year. Post by tomalak301 An incoherent mess. I came back to Doctor Who after a really weak season 9 because I was curious as to what Moffatt and Capaldi's final season was going to be like. I'm regretting that decision. This show is on life support and it needs another 2005 reboot. Hopefully Chibnell and the new Doctor can provide something. Pearl Mackie staying on as Bill isn't happening. As far as I know, she's not even going to be in the Christmas special. Chibnall, then, will have a blank slate to work from when he takes over. It's for the best.

Right. And unless people personally lived in NAZI Germany under Hitler's regime, I'm not sure how they can form an opinion that Hitler was bad.

A TV show is somehow compatible to Nazi Germany??? There are a lot of shows that I simply hated, but you have taken it to another level entirely. Deep end, meet Reel! Reel, meet deep end!

ANOTHER Doctor Who fan speaks out AGAINST "Series 10"
Post by zieveraar this season 10 was awful. It's the stories, not the actors, that failed imo. The whole Vault thing failed from the start. It never worked, not the companion, nor the stories. And the final barely made sense. it all was pretty messy. it is so repetitive that it has become stale and boring. The ratings crashed and burned because it was a bad season, with barely even one decent episode. A wasted opportunity.

Far from the best series but not even close to be as bad as you claim.

I hate to break the news to you, but denying it was horrible worthless garbage won't change the fact it was horrible worthless garbage. I could claim " I just sat thru Plan 9 From Outer Space and is not nearly the train wreak people claim it is on the internet. It is actually a well made, polished, A-list, big budget, professional film", but that wouldn't make my statement reflect reality at all.

1/10 for MIDNIGHT?!?! Blasphemy. Surely, you can't be serious. That was one of my FAVORITE Doctor-centered "companion lite" stories of all time, and it was a creepy-as-hell psychological thriller where things are scarier BECAUSE they're left unexplained. It had a real Twilight Zone-ish vibe and was a "Nightmare at 20,000 feet" type of story. "Midnight" is fondly remembered by a TON of Doctor Who fans. The Guardian's TV reviewer Sam Wollaston rightly described the episode as " great... it's tense and claustrophobic, and gnaws away at you." He praised the fact that all the action happened in one confined space with an unseen enemy, saying "t his is psychological drama rather than full-blown horror; creepy-unknown scary, not special-effect-monster scary." The Times's reviewer Andrew Billen praised the episode for its claustrophobic atmosphere and for showing the series was "not afraid of variety," but instead "dead scared of repetition". IGN's Travis Fickett rated the episode 8.6 out of 10 saying it was "tightly written" and allowed the viewer to get to know the different passengers. In 2010, Matt Wales listed "Midnight" as the second-best Tennant episode of the series in an IGN article. I loved the chilling ending where Donna, obvious to the drama the Doctor went thru, makes a lighthearted joke repeating his words, and the Doctor acts livid and quietly tells her "don't". 1/10 implies the episode was almost entirely unwatchable crap and only had maybe one redeeming element to it, like the "Series 10" era episode "World Enough and Time" where the WORST companion in Doctor Who history is mercifully killed off, bringing a huge sigh of relief from the fan base. Aside from that ONE element, there is literally nothing else worthwhile about the episode (or for the entire season for that matter) "Midnight" is nowhere NEAR as bad as any episode as "Bill". Heck, the "Bill" episodes suck so much they don't even DESERVE to be part of the same television program as Midnight. Yes, claiming Midnight is 1/10 in quality is your personal opinion and you are entitled to it, but your opinion is completely antithetical to the views of most Whovians, and it is a slap in the face to rate it as if it were a Moffat era "Bill" episode.
