I saw this movie when it came out to theatres back in 2015 with my dad and being extremely stoked about it. The previews made it look like a really awesome sci fi movie. Also the movie had Brad Bird as director so I didn't see how it could go wrong. When I saw it I was mainly confused because it was not at all what the previews made it look to be. I'm rewatching it as I write this and I'm trying to figure out where the movie went wrong. If you ask me the movie doesn't make a whole lot of sense. They keep talking about Tomorrowland in the movie but we never actually see it. In your opinion why do you think this movie failed? Was it because of false advertising making it out to be a sci fi action movie or did the movie have an idea that went nowhere?

I saw it when it came out and I remember thinking it was visually impressive, but the story lacked big time. Other than a few scenes, I can't remember much about it. It's a 6/10 for me.

I think it was just that the story really wasn't that well written. I remember being excited about it wanting to see it in IMAX and 3D and then I did and the film was so so. Some of the visuals were very impressive but nothing really stood out. And third act feels a little muddled with no real direction.
