I can't remember which cable channel it was (possibly IFC) but one of them showed all 5 of the original Planet of the Apes movies yesterday. They are all amazing movies. If you've never seen them, I highly recommend that you do someday.

Fox Movie Channel used to air them all the time until they switched over to showing reruns of every Oscar-bait movie they released the last five years instead.

I recently rewatched all Planet of the Apes movies.
And yes, the original five still stand the test of time.

Its very famous in the horror genre, well not horror. I'd say the science fiction genre more than the horror genre. |
