I'm looking for the episode where Tim and Jill have guests over - and Tim impresses the guests by acting polite, chivalrous, having manners, gentleman-like, and dressing in a sharp suit. This behavior for Tim also surprises Jill who doesn't say anything to ruin the moment. The guests then compliment Jill on what a great husband she has.
When the guests leave, Tim starts acting like his usual self again - burping, farting, spitting, making crude comments - this prompts Jill to get angry with him, asking him why he can't be his gentleman with her as he is for guests.

I can only add that I had the unfortunate/fortune of not watching 'Home Improvement' when it was on because I thought it was just a silly family show. Have been watching the first season and damn was I lucky to be wrong,,,,great awesome funny and the kids are just as hilarious as the adults! Something extremely rare to see usually. The episode with the snake in the house is a classic. Repost this question next year and I bet I can answer it

Season 3, Episode 20 - "It was the best of Tims, It was the worst of Tims"
This is probably the episode I think of the most. Good episode.
