I don't think the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts owns any Van Gogh, but I have seen many of his paintings in several museums in cities all over the world - New York, Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, Paris, London, Munich, Saint Petersburg, Moscow, São Paulo, off the top of my head. I haven't yet been to either of the two Dutch museums that have very large Van Gogh collections: the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam, of course, and the Kröller-Müller Museum in a town called Otterlo. One of these days. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kr%C3%B6ller-M%C3%BCller_Museum

I will definitely visit again if and when I return to the Saint Louis area.

It's short and doesn't make you learn much if you lived in the 60's or know your history.

I've already been to Révolution and I agree, it was a bit disappointing. The past one that you mentioned I must have seen it three times.

I'm not a member but I go to see exhibitions here and there. I missed my chances on a few (I know, it's on me) but I still enjoyed Fabergé, Rodin and Mapplethorpe (loved his portraits and flowers but not his weird bdsm part). I got to say that I found Le Penseur underwhelming in it's original size.

The membership that I have is the one that allows me to bring one guest for free every time, so it almost pays off if I go to every exhibition (which I always try to do). I think my favourite since I became a member was Chihuly. I must have seen that one four times.

No, not where I live. The only paintings I know of that they would have by famous artists would be Grant Wood, Georgia O' Keefe, Jim Dine, Chuck Close, Salvador Dali and Grandma Moses.
The nearest Van Gogh's are in Chicago and I have been there to see them as well as a few special exhibitions they have had through the years that featured Van Gogh as well as in Washington DC. and Milwaukee Wis.

...I have viewed several Van Gogh's in Chicago and the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam...
The cinema "Vincent and Theo" is actually quite good.
