i need help, please. And a fair warning, i got very little to go on:
1. the movie is from late 90s/early 2000s I think (my tip would be 2001-2004) 2. the main guy is a somewhat dorky high-school teenager who at the beginning of the movie gets bullied by his classmates on a roof of a building and ends up jumping off of the building to get away 3. he survives 4. then it cuts into his years at work (some kinda office work) that he doesnt really like 5. he is friends/has a crush on with some cute brunette who wears glasses
thats ALL I know. It was a smal-ish movie I think, more indie and satyrical than anything else
Any guesses? Thanks.

Sounds rather generic aside from the rooftop thing.

Sounds rather generic aside from the rooftop thing. I know, thats the problem. Believe me, I know. It sucks I dont have anything else to go on. I have been googling rooftop scenes for weeks now, and am still nowhere, except now I have suspicious searches related to jumping from the roof in my google history. But I guess there are still more odd things I google… The good thing about that detail is that the movies Starts with that scene. So if anyone has seen it, and remembers it, it would be very easy to identify.

Are you sure this isn't your life story? Wait let me read it again… uhm… nope, nope, not really, no. My life story is: 1. from the late eighties early nineties 2. girl addicted to movies 3. eventually found IMDB forums and used to get a lot of useful information from there 4. still mourns the loss of those forums 5. might end jumping off of a roof on account of how frustrating it is not to have that one place where there are individual boards for each and every single movie, director, actor or screenwriter, so no matter how odd your question or taste in movies is, you could always find answers and similarly minded people there. GOD I MISS IT! I really appreciate this forum, but boy do I miss the fact there was a board on every single item. I miss it, plus my job is now kinda harder….
