Just watched this last night with Diane Lane and Richard Gere. Very good movie. 2 stars from cable vision? Are you kidding me? I would've preferred it ended a little differently but I won't spoil it for everybody.

Nights in Rodanthe (2008) I totally agree with you here jayhn1111 this film was excellent and I actually saw this one on the big screen when it was brand new as well ( and also have this one on DVD too ) . IMPO - As a practice I mostly never go by the critics rating systems . I find it's best for me to just be my own judge when it comes to which films I enjoy or not . Thanks so much jayhn1111 for yoursubject post .

I think I've posted this before but I have found that the movies that cablevision gives 2 stars are usually the ones I end up enjoying the most. And the ones that get 4 stars generally bore me to tears. I guess those are the ones that are the most well written? But I"m not a writer or a producer so who cares about what's the most well written? It's about enjoyment and what movies move you or really speak to you
