had reached a bi-lateral level of determining
which poisonous gases
the united states could continue
manufacturing
under the guise of experimenting
with the chemical properties of elements
and which gases
they could secretly store away
just in case
someone who'd purchased their nuclear experiments
got just a wee bit uppity.
