hotter than the surface of mercury and twice the stupid
the incorporated ignorance
had reached its peak
around
the same time the strontium ninety
started to leak
from the over used storage containers
we were told
would never reach the creek
even after
are great grand children were dust
oh well
this is what happens when whole governments
lie to us.
as we mistakenly
put our trust
in things
that glow in the night
and always
succumb to rust.
