I misread this thread's title, and thought it said "Furbies". I was disappointed to find out it said "fur babies".
....and yes, "fur babies" is a stupid term.

It doesn't really bother me personally but I actually refer to them as the creatures.

I find it annoying myself, and don't use it. But it's no big deal if other people use it.
