Who should direct? Who should play the villain? Should Bond get a new girl?? How big should Blofelds role be??

Director: Alex Garland
Role of Blofeld: I hope they keep him as an overwatching schemer. I think he's far better that way. There should be a main villain that Bond must confront most of the time.
Main Villain: Bryan Cranston, Mark Rylance, or Dan Stevens. They should be the most intriguing villain in the movie. I think that Stevens would be more of a physical threat, while Rylance and Cranston would be more psychological in their exploits. I would also want Cranston to lose his Heisenberg persona. Although both his performance and character in Breaking Bad are beyond great, he has become kind of typecasted.
Plot: I have no idea. I always like a good revenge plot, though. Maybe that could work...?
Maybe not for a Bond film as much, but maybe.

I don't have any revolutionary ideas regarding director but the rumoured candidates David Mackenzie and Yann Demange are interesting choices.
Given the reception of SPECTRE I think it's best not the make Bond 25 a direct follow up and make it more of a stand alone adventure. One of the (many) problems was that they rushed to use Blofeld. We know he's still out there but for now I think it's best to sideline him until the time is right. Similarly I don't feel it's necessary to bring back Madeline, she wasn't especially interesting nor did Léa Seydoux have especially strong chemistry with Craig. As such a new villain and girl will be called for.
After Neal Purvis's commented "With people like Trump, the Bond villain has become a reality" I've been warming up to the idea of an American villain for this instalment. My top choice would be Peter Dinklage but I am giving serious thought to Ed Harris too.
I'm not going to suggest anyone for a Bond girl as I feel they work best when they're discoveries and not well known actresses. Find a beautiful and talented performer from world cinema who's well known in her own country but not that famous internationally. My only request would be to have someone more age appropriate this time, Craig's getting older, can the primary Bond girl be at least late-30's this time?
In terms of style and tone I'd like to see Craig go out on a more classical feeling Bond adventure as I feel like that's what his tenure has been leading to. I want Bond to have to stop a good old fashioned megalomaniac without any personal issues or connections. This time, it's strictly business....

I hope it's a standalone film and they acknowledge it as DC's Bond's last mission.

I hope it's a standalone film and they acknowledge it as DC's Bond's last mission. Maybe they can do what Sean Connery wanted to do with "Never Say Never Again", and actually make the film about the struggles of an aging Bond. Craig is almost as old as Connery was at that time, so the idea of an older Bond having a harder and harder time serving his country isn't out of the question.

They touch on some of that in Skyfall too, but this movie will take place like 6 or 7 years after that one, so they should DEFINITELY make it about Bond at the very end of his career as a 00. They always talk about how 00s are supposed to have a short career. Well, DC's Bond will have had a 12-13 year run (starting with CR in 2006) by the time this comes out. So I want them to "Logan" it and make it about Bond realizing that he's done. Maybe give him a new agent to mentor or something. But make him finally retire at the end (or die, if they have the balls to do that).

I'm not a big fan of Craig's Bond, but that's beside the point. Killing Bond and having this iteration of him stay dead would be a ballsy move that'd be cheapened by moving onto the next bloke too fast. As for the next iteration of the series that would eventually follow... no idea.

It should open with Pierce Brosnan bolting upright in bed, proclaiming to Halle Berry "I've just had a terrible nightmare..."
Then, after calming down a bit, he would say "Did I ever tell you about that mission in East Berlin?". Then it would cut back to the cold war era with the newly cast Bond playing a younger version of the last proper Bond...

The latest rumor is that BOND 25 will play out in a similar fashion to TAKEN. Again, just a rumor at this time.
TEXT:
The same goes for this new story from Page Six, where inside sources for the publication have told them Bond will be retired from the secret service and married when the movie begins. Naturally the story wouldn’t be following his blissful home life, so his wife will be murdered shortly after, leading Bond out of retirement to seek revenge. Although the reports don’t confirm it, the previous movie Spectre ended with Bond riding off into the sunset with new love Madeline Swann, so if the reports are true, it’s likely Lea Seydoux’s Dr. Swann will be Bond’s spouse.

It should be about macro events, not James' personal life.
I feel like Skyfall & Spectre became James exposition stories instead of Bond films.

I still think that a Bond film largely set in Africa would be cool. Like a dictator and/or warlord crossed with a 'Nigerian prince' type criminal mastermind being the big bad. It'd have a safari theme.
