Great news, fellow Whovians!
Are you sick and tired of what Moffat has done to Doctor Who after Clara exited the show? You're not alone. You have a friend and ally in Jenna Coleman herself.
I can confirm this because I attended Wizard World's Chicago Comic Con over the weekend, and one of the guests there was Jenna Coleman IN PERSON. (You can confirm this on their events page). Other Doctor Who alumni scheduled to appear included David Tennant, John Barrowman, Alex Kingston, and Catherine Tate. Tennant had to cancel at the last second, but all the other former companions attended.
I did not meet the others in person, but I had the opportunity to get Jenna Coleman's autograph. I stood in line an hour to meet her, and told her how much I enjoyed her role as "the Impossible Girl" on the show, and how I have NOT watched a single episode of Doctor Who since they replaced her with the horrible character "Bill".
She smiled and told me that she too, "hasn't seen any of it" since they replaced her with "Bill".
This is fantastic news! Jenna Coleman, just like her loyal fans, is skipping the program since Moffat decided to replace her with the WORST companion in nuWho history (and possibly the worst companion of all time).
And please, if you're a Moffat shill/BBC apologist, don't try to spin this excellent news with some kind of "maybe she hasn't had time to watch it" propaganda. You know that she would find the time to watch at least ONE episode with "Bill" if she was in ANY way interested in seeing what direction the show went after she left. Coleman, just like the fanbase, hasn't tuned into ANY episode of the "series 10" abomination.
Also, don't even try to lie and distort my post by saying "Reel claimed Coleman is boycotting Doctor Who next year because the Doctor will be played by a woman". You know for a fact that my post only pertains to the fact that Coleman isn't watching any of the "Bill" era garbage being made by Moffat. What happens NEXT YEAR remains to be seen.
Now, to be fair, I did not speak with Tennant, Tate, Kingston, or Barrowman, so I do not know if they likewise support the boycott. But given the ratings, I'd say its highly likely THEY haven't watched any of that garbage, either.
Yep, something for Moffat to chew on: Doctor Who sucks so much now that even former cast members won't watch the show.

You seem obsessed with things that does not matter.
But as i do not think Bill was as bad as you think. I do agree that she was the worst companion.

Bill was as bad as you think. I do agree that she was the worst companion. Yep, you are 100% correct there. Given that the decision to have the Doctor regenerate into a woman is causing a much bigger frenzy online, perhaps we should do an online poll about which was the WORST decision for nuWho: replacing Clara with an ugly butch lesbian with a man's name, or belatedly having the Doctor turn female after 50+ years of being an exclusively male character? For me, the former decision is a clear "winner" for the biggest insult to the fans/most pathetic "creative" decision in the history of the show. The reasons are obvious. There's still a chance (albeit slim) that they could make a female Doctor work at this point. It's just the timing for the decision was cringe worthy. There was ZERO chance that "Bill" would have EVER worked on Doctor Who. She was a laughable excuse for an actual "character" since the day she was announced.

There was ZERO chance that "Bill" would have EVER worked on Doctor Who. She was a laughable excuse for an actual "character" since the day she was announced. I have only been able to watch the first half of this last season on DVD, and so far... I too don't think "Bill" is a bad as people think... & I don't care that she is a lesbian... But, I do agree, that she has to be one of the worst companions ever created, if not these worst. It's like, no one put any effort into creating an interesting character for the show. And I still don't understand what is up with the name "Bill" It's not like it is short for Billie or anything... I will watch the rest of the season, when part two comes out on DVD, just to keep up with it, but I am not expecting much... Because the episodes in the first half were not all that good. Not sure what happened since the 50th special, but everything has been going down hill since then... Peter Capaldi has been great, but he alone can't save the show now. As I understand, everything is starting over next year. New producers, New writers, New Doctor, New Companion... And I hope the show gets a major boost in effort from all involved in trying to create a good product for the viewer... I must admit, as a fan of Doctor Who for almost 40 years, I am deeply concerned about the Doctor becoming a woman. Not because I don't think it can work, I am just use to him being a man. It will take some time to adjust. But if the actress is a good one, and she gives it her best, I am open to seeing her performance... Just as long as this year of Crap-Who comes to an end. I'm hoping the first few episodes will deal with the Doctor having to get used to being a woman. It will help us all deal with it too... Looking forward to eventually seeing the big special though... The Doctor, The Master, Missy, and The "Nurse"... If all involved puts any kind of the effort that they should be putting into the series... It should be a good show.

Thank you, gentlemen, for stating the TRUTH! Someone needed to publicly speak that and point out that the Emperor (Moffat) has no clothes. You won't believe how much crap I got from the Moffat apologists/BBC shills for warning the public that "Series 10" would be worthless garbage and that "Bill" would undoubtedly be the WORST companion of the nuWho era, if not the WORST companion ever. I feel vindicated now, people are looking back on "Series 10" and realizing not a single episode was worth their time, and noticing that "Bill" was such a pathetic character that the Sixth Doctor's era with Mel looks good in comparison. The Moffat apologists/BBC shills continually denied this during the entire run of the season, and even went so far as to spread propaganda that the show was "much better" since they got rid of Clara and that they should have introduced "Bill" before because she was a "breath of fresh air". Now, the truth can no longer be ignored. People look back on "Series 10", and think, UGH, what a waste of film. Under Moffat, the show has hit rock bottom.

Why did you only quote part of what i wrote ? It was the part that was relevant to the topic of this thread (namely, the current incarnation of Doctor Who being unwatchable garbage)

Jenna Coleman is one fine lady indeed and is sorely missed especially compared to the "Oi I'm Black and Lez I'm so oppressed" Bill. I'm officially re-entering this boycott. Bill and now a female doctor is just mindless pandering to SJW twats for the sake of it and nothing more
Next James Bond will be a gay woman, Sherlock Holmes will be an Arab immigrant and King Arthur will be Black with a Chinese Merlin

Wow...
An actor working on multiple projects hasn't had time to watch a TV show...
And that is a formal Endorsement of an entire Doctor Who Boycott.
You are ridiculous.
