Loved the dialog during the meetings and having everyone and their arch nemesis all face to face.
Loved the outcome of the Baelish situation.
Loved Dragon Rider Night King!!

Fucking fantastic. One of the shows best episodes. As someone who didn't like the idea of boat sex, I thought the scene was very good intercutting with Bran confirming Jon Snow's parentage. Gorgeous music, loved the flashback and it was way more emotional than I was expecting. Also as someone who didn't want Baelish to die (one of my favorite characters) they did his death justice and it ended up being one of my favorite moments of the show. The acting throughout was amazing and the Cersei/Jaime scene....I've been waiting for that for so long. Snow in King's Landing! Finally! The wall comes down! Finally! So much happened!

It was a great finale to set up next season. Overall, it felt like the show slowed down to normal levels The Great Stuff:The parlay - Everything from the meet up to the zombie to the pretty logical outcome. The Night King - I can't comprehend people not liking this. Littlefinger - A nice turnaround to what is still a crappy storyline. The reunion between Sansa and Arya was wonderful though Cersei & Tyrion - The best parts of seasons 2 and 3 often involved their conversations This season is going to make me sound like I hate it, but I can't help it. The Problematic Stuff:R+L=A - As usual, I absolutely despise just about everything regard "Jon's" heritage. Zombie Dragon logic - Although it's a cool visual, why is the dragon breath blue?. Also, didn;t he blow up the dragon's windpipe with the ice pick? Zombie Dragon logic Part II - Shouldn't they have assumed the dragon could become a zombie. Theon - Dangit, he's still alive Euron - How did they know that what they saw would convince him to leave for the Iron Islands? Only one death. There's a lot more survivors going into the final season than I expected.

It was solid. You forgot to mention how they confirmed the show has always been about the cocks. The intro should have tipped us off long ago though. The real intro

Another oddity is Jon's name is Aegon although his brother's name is also Aegon.
Did they mention Rhaegar's kids' names in the show before?

The group meeting scene was amazing. Pretty much every scene with Cersei was amazing. i really missed her this season.
Not that happy with the end of Littlefinger. He was once the smartest character on the show, but he'd become an idiot for plot convenience. Rather than Arya, the sibling with psychic abilities should have been his main concern.

I thought the finale was awesome, and it's crazy to see some of the fools on here whine about how much it supposedly sucks. These people read every spoiler ahead of time, declare that the season is going to suck before even watching it, then make more threads about how superior they are because they won't accept a "dumbed down" GoT.
It's like teenagers who really get into a band, then get hysterical when the band blows up and suddenly everyone is a fan. Then they mope about how much the band sucks, and whine about all the posers who got into it "late."
Anyway, great episode. Jon is an aunt fucker. GoT loves incest lol. That's gonna be an awkward conversation back at Winterfell:
Baelish died appropriately, like a bitch, begging for his life. I like the call back to "Baelor" when LF put the knife to Ned Stark's throat and said, "I told you not to trust me."
Did Tormund survive the wall collapse? I wasn't sure if anyone lived through that.

S03E04 43:44 Thoros of Myr, accusing The Hound in the cave: "House Clegane was built upon dead children. I saw them lay Prince Aegon and Princess Rhaenys before the Iron Throne."

I'm in the same boat as Smithy.... It's gonna sound like I didn't like it... but, I loved it.
THE WALL
Loved seeing it fall.... but:
I wish it was at Castle Black.. Seeing the dragon destroy the end piece seemed a little anti-climatic... It wasn't as high, and... was it didn't even seem necessary as it looked like they could just have walked around the thing on the frozen bay. EDIT: On second viewing, it appears that the bay wasn't as frozen as I thought it was...
And did we really need to see the red-headed wildling and the one-eyed guy run to safety?
They, by all rights, should be dead.
Great characters... Would hate to see them go.. but... not for nothin'... they should be dead.
Also with Smithy: Thought the death count would have been a tad higher this season.... which brings me to Littlefinger:
LITTLEFINGER
Was a little disappointed with his death... He was the guy that started the whole ball rolling.. He seemed to be the guy that was secretly behind the major events of the show... It was literally his Game Of Thrones being played... He should have been there at the finale...
I suppose it could be argued that he just worked himself into a corner.. but... It seemed more like the writers just lost interest in him and they made the cool Mr. Smith into that caricature of himself... "Come along, my dear Sansa.... Come along!".
He should have been way more concerned about removing Bran from the board once he realized that Bran knows the past.
Can't wait for next season... in a year and a half... if were lucky.

My opinion still stands until the writers ruin it too - Rhaegar was purely a prophecy nut who didn't think his previous wife or kids made the cut so he started over. This is why he didn't care about the war he started because his role was more important.
It is maddening that after all the fuss of the female characters being abused that people are letting it ride that both Lyanna & Rhaegar think so little of marriage, they would summarily dismiss the current wife.
The current Stark batch are better than their predecessors who are turning out to be Lannister level horrible people.

I agree. The fact that they let a war start because of that is...just wrong. I have no sympathy for them.

I agree about Little Finger. It's a shame that the guy who pretty much set all the events into motion won't be there at the end.

I wonder if we can interpret Littlefinger's death as the failure of characters to accept the supernatural. It's weird Bran's claim would be accepted in that "court" session though he would be able to reproduce any information on demand. On that note, I always wondered if Gregor was now a wight of some form but I guess this episode confirms he isn't.

Bran's testimony simply showed LF's guilt by his reaction.
Sansa was an eyewitness to nearly everything else or it could be corroborated by the things he left behind as evidence.
The most annoying thing about this plot was that all of this could have been settled without the deception of Arya and Sansa since it didn't actually involve anything based on the trial.
Further, the rules were whatever Winterfell/Sansa made them & the Vale never liked Littlefinger.

I mean as him being Lord Protector of the Vale. It was thanks to him Winterfell was regained and it was suggested in previous episodes he had been conversing with the rest of the North. He should have been far harder to get rid off meaning a price was paid for winning BOTB. I thought the rest of the North would want a little more proof before they cut him down (I'm not even sure if the sentence was passed in that scene). Royce hated him but it seemed rushed.

I was under the impression Bran was the reason Sansa decided to kill LF. Otherwise shouldn't he have gone in a cell soon after BOTB? I guess I want greater consequences in the story. As in by winning BOTB with LF's help he can't be simply deposed. Yes, Sansa always was witness to some of LF's crimes but I thought she wouldn't be able to simply remove him without more help.
