No need to assert your strident hatred of the films, make lame Jar Jar jokes, quote Plinkett/RLM, etc. We've all heard it a million times. Just thought it would be cool to see which of the three prequels is the most liked by people on here. Cheers!

Voted Sith, but back in the day in the cinema I liked AotC the most (I initially disliked Ep I and III). AotC is the weirdest and most daring in terms of world building, sound design and narrative. But Sith has some of the best scenes (opera, Order 66, Yoda/Palps etc) and the dystopian downfall going for it. That makes it unique in the pulp Sci Fi genre.
TPM has great visuals, designs and an fun underlying plot puzzle (Palps), but it sports that cumbersome, episodic 4-Act structure rendering it tedious; also it's too bright, colorful and juvenile for my taste (which of course is intentional as the PT evolves from the bright heydays of the Republic, to it's belligerent twilight and finally to dark night and downfall). TCW movie is a fun big-budget pilot to a great series, but not a proper stand alone movie IMO.

The Phantom Menace, since it has the best story, best characters and feels least like a video game. Sith has always been the popular favorite but for me it's the worst. Huge special effects overkill even when compared to previous two and the darker tone was really poorly done.
The Clone Wars is absolutely wretched in every way.

Shouldn't "ROGUE ONE" also be in this Poll ?

I thought it had the most memorable action, story, and individual moments. The saber dueling, the opera house scene, Order 66 is simply magnificent. I rewatched it recently and came to appreciate story more than I had in the past. How Palpatine's plan unraveled was really quite ingenious. I also felt that its shortcomings were relatively minor and never really took me out of the scene. In my ranking it would be #4 behind the original trilogy, but ahead of Awakens, Rogue One, Menace, and Clones, respectively.

"Sith" is the Star Wars movie of my dreams; if I'd seen it as a kid my head would've exploded.
