I hope not Guardians V.2, but if it sucks it sucks. Something else will top it, though.

It might as well end up being Beauty and the Beast.
I'll watch it, opening night... but I have little faith on it.

For what I've heard this one is going to suuuuuuuuuuck if the Original is your bible.
I think the Original is perfect so I'll be at the cinema with a pitchfork.

It might as well end up being Beauty and the Beast. I'll watch it, opening night... but I have little faith on it. There's a good chance the film will be disappointing, but it's hardly likely it will be as bad as those other two. The director has handled a musical format very well before (in Dreamgirls) and he is in any case a more talented director than Feig or whatever-his-name-was. And this musical, as well as this story, is pretty much foolproof. The film might become controversial, like Ghostbusters, if feminists try hard enough to politicise it; but the story is so popular and speaks so directly to everyone that I doubt they'll succeed. No one wants to hear that nonsense about Beauty and the Beast, not really.

That's exactly what I was thinking. I was thinking this when I saw the article for "Oceans 8" I'm not getting political, just making an observation. You can tell Hollywood assumed Hillary Clinton would win the White House because they began developing and making "Female-Centric" films that were previously male lead films. Expect 2018 and 2019 to be filled with the opposite of that.

I would bet that they had already started printing up "President Clinton" office supplies before the results had even come in.

I think that 2017's anhilated remake is going to be it. Why did they give pennywise a dress? And thanks to that dumb costume decision, it will suck

Penny Wise was able to kill those children because he looked innocent in King's novel. This one looks too creepy to have ever been a clown

And the dress was dumb. It was clear that whoever designed that costume never even read King's novel.

No, they don't. It's why the scorch trials was every bit different from the book.
