It's probably because they are sexist?

I dunno, never played any. I just cannot play as a character that is a witch. I know that gives plenty of room for hilarity and what not, but still. I just can't ok.

Nope.
because it's possible someone might not care for that genre of games. even if they do, it could be other factors in why people might not like it.
p.s. i have not played it but i doubt i would think much of it because when it comes to video games i am pretty selective on what ill play because the vast majority of games are not worth playing and only a small amount worth playing and finishing and even a smaller amount that ill replay from time-to-time as the years pass as the ones i replay from time-to-time are the true gems.

Nope.
It's simply because Bayonetta and Bayonetta 2 are absolutely awful games.

Nope. It's simply because Bayonetta and Bayonetta 2 are absolutely awful games. Haven't played Bayonetta 2. I'm PC master race. I thought Bayonetta was a lot of fun. It felt satisfying as all hell to juggle combos and abilities even if you could get away with button mashing and just waiting around to go into Witch Time. Whether you wanted to master the game or just get through it, the combat always felt visceral and what you were doing had some impact behind it. That's important for a brawler. Also, I loved the campy tone of the game and Bayonetta herself is just a very enjoyable over-the-top character. The cutscenes bordered on excessive but I found them to be cheesy and entertaining. It got a bit repetitive and maybe overstayed it's welcome but an awful game? Nah.

It's just a ludicrous game, a God of War wannabe.

I would not say that it would be the only reason, it's just possibly one of many reasons why some guys wouldn't like it. Just like the only reason why someone wouldn't like botw is not because it looks like ASS, which it does.

I liked the first game but not enough to finish it.
