He can't help it. He loves me even though I keep telling him I'm not into guys. I would say his behavior is embarrassing but compared to most of the pathetic behavior of you odd little mcu loners it at least makes sense. Weird worshiping the ground I walk on is understandable because mentally and physically I am perfection. Conversely the rest of you mcu sycophants literally have nothing at all in your empty lives other than talking about the mcu and fisting yourselves while watching mediocre marvel movies. Day in and day out the same handful of y'all are here prattling on and on and on and on about the same cut and paste mcu kiddie flicks. You bully DC Fan but he has other interests and posts on boards other than comic books movies. The guy has a life but I never get the feeling any of you do. It's the same tired circle jerk with you mcu guys and it's actually depressing that adults are so insanely obsessed with movies that follow the same exact formula ad nauseam. Arf arf is nutting in his panties because he will soon be able to buy spideys homecoming dance and put it on a non stop loop!!!!! I can't even fathom how lonely and despondent he has to be to do that. Most people would eat a bullet if the only other option was doing that but he is bragging about it. I hope this post will encourage at least one of you to leave your room and experience the real world if only for a few hours. At least think about it guys. Also once again congrats to spideys homecoming dance for doing whatever all of you are so excited about. Even though the movie was projected to do a lot better than it did and the studio receives only a small percentage of the foreign box office a lot of people sat through the movie at least once. Maybe one day I will even watch it but since I've seen other mcu movies I've already seen it anyway. Anyway hooray for the homecoming dance. So according to you DC-Fan has a life? And yet he keeps making up lies and keep posting his inner fears in reverse on two boards all the time. The guy loves his superheroes when they kill. Wouldnt be surprised if his 'life' is sending love letters to female prisons in the hope one of the prisoners will pluck his flower before she offs him. Maybe the Dark Knight will safe him. At least in his twisted mind. Like during a conjugal visit or she breaks out of prison and tracks him down?

Between China and US it should have made over a million on both Thursday and Friday.
It'll pass $870 million worldwide by Sunday. Not sure if it will pass Batman vs Superman by then though but it will be close.

They'll update the worldwide total in several hours. I'm expecting it'll be around $872-874 million.

It's probably got a few more million left in it in the US. Another few million in China. Maybe a million or two everywhere else. Maybe $880-885 million total. It'll come close to Spider-man 3 but won't have quite enough left to pass it up.

Oh it looks like it's just been updated a minute ago.
It's now at $874.4 million worldwide so it did a tad better than the high end of what I was expecting.
It's also passed Batman vs Superman now.

Nice. It's amazing how well it actually did. That's super awesome to see it end up that way. Really makes you wonder if a more high paced sequel blows it out of the water too.

DC-Fan must be having a heart-attack right about now. Mello too, because BvS is basically Justice League 0.5, right? So how can a Spider-Man solo movie make more than a movie that stars the DC trinity?

They seem to think they are automatically the biggest sellers, and yet they get outsold by Guardians of the Galaxy, so I honestly think fans of the genre need to step back and consider that those characters aren't the leaders of the industry any more and are more just a part of a whole.

Although no matter how you slice it, Homecoming is more successful and profitable than BvS. BvS: Budget: $300 million Gross: $873.3 million Box Office Profit: $273.3 million Spider-Man: BUdget: $175 million Gross: $874 (and counting) Profit: $524 Good luck worming the DCEU's way out of this one, mello.

To be fair Spider-man Homecoming did have Iron Man.
Safe to say that if he wasn't in the movie it would have made a decent chunk less.

Oh but Sony was expecting a billion, and RDJ is a billion dollars guarenteed. Were they? Why? When the spidey franchise has never made even $900m, the last film having done the worst and this being yet another reboot of a film series only 15 years old, a billion was certain fans expectations but I don't recall hearing that was the studios expectations, the lower budget indicates to me Sony being more conservative in regards to the box office expectations for SMH.
Also Weirdraptor BVS's budget was $300m gross but $250m net so in that very rudermentary breakdown of cost/profit BVS is $100m more profitable than you make it out, though obviously we all know the actual profit to cost thing is a lot more complex than that, anyway just pointing it out, given even with an additional $100m BVS in that breakdown is still way less profitable than SMH there's no need to short change it.

No they weren't, I was mockingly imitating mellomoviereview who believed Sony was expecting a billion for Spider-Man: Homecoming.
