Just off the top of my head: Various classical music concerts by Arturo Toscanini are on DVD "The Lone Ranger" is on DVD Several 1949 episodes of "Studio One" were issued on DVD by Alpha Video
Any other examples of 1940s television on DVD?

Super Circus is my favourite live kids show of the period....probably one of the first truly visual TV shows, with its acrobats and such. Also, the series had less spam for the sponsor than some of the other early kids shows (some of the early kids shows were spamfests for the sponsor.....things haven't improved in the 2010s, given some of the today's kids shows are giant plugs for a line of toys)
