I figure sooner or later Disney will offer the Indy I.P. to some publisher or developer to create games based on Indy, so that got me thinking: "what would a modern Indiana Jones games be like?" The obvious answer is that "It'd be a re-skin of Uncharted", however I think there'd be distinct differences between the two; these being 1. the combat would be melee focused, with little use of guns & 2. it'd be a period piece, whereas Uncharted is contemporary. It'd be curious how the whip could be used in a game, in terms of combat, to swing & for puzzles.

I think it'd be tough to make something unique from Uncharted.
The only way that they could switch it up would be to make an open world Indy game. I wouldn't be opposed to that at all.

I never said unique, I said distinct, Uncharted & Tomb Raider (the reboot two) have definite similarities, yet there are distinct differences between the two.
