Something weird is going on with the site links. For example, if I click "NEW" next to a thread it's supposed to take me to the newest unread post in that thread. It used to, but now it's started taking me to the top of the first page, just as if I'd clicked on the thread title.
Similarly, if I look at a notification I see something like "bobsmith liked your post in the thread Mashed Potato is Awesome!" Clicking on the thread title link in the notification used to take me directly to the liked or quoted post. But now it takes me to the top of page 1 of the thread, even if the liked or quoted post is on page 5 or whatever.
It makes it kind of hard to navigate the site. Hope bringing this to your attention helps you find a fix.

I don't know, it sounds similar. I tried clearing my browser data, but it doesn't seem to have fixed it. Here's an example. This link : imdb2.freeforums.net/thread/58678/atheists-question?page=2&scrollTo=904220 is supposed to take you to a post by johnblutarsky that quotes me - that's what the "scrollTo" bit is about, right? But it doesn't. It takes me to the top of the page instead. It does that if I click the link, if I copy the link and paste it in a new tab. Reloading pages, clearing browser cache, none of that helps. It does seem to be a google chrome issue, though - the same link pasted into Firefox works fine.

The recent update of Chrome seems to be causing the problem. For whatever reason, when the browser requests the page, it isn't including the "&scrollTo" in the GET request. Which is odd. Even if you directly link and it sends the request correctly, it still doesn't seem to work.

Well. Today, for no apparent reason at all, it started working exactly the way it is supposed to. Go figure.
