James Harden. Great record on road and Harden has played central role in ensuring that. Rockets are set to finish no.3. Spurs will still be a great team with Leonard but Rockets not so much without Harden. OKC's record on road sucks and Westbrook has missed too many clutch plays to be better than Harden. Though Westbrook has had a phenomenal season without any doubt. LeBron James is above these awards. He is the NBA finals player.

Russell Westbrook, by far. He's having one of the most amazing years I've ever seen, and without him the Thunder would be one of the worst teams in the league instead of a playoff team.

First, Ill admit Im biased. So please, understand that.
If Westbrook avgs a triple double....idk how you deny that, my issue is..his team is what atm? Theyre the 7th seed atm, at best they can make 6th seed unless they somehow just win every game, I dont see it happening. So at best they hit the 6th seed, and theyll either face San Antonio or Rockets.
I have to go with Harden as I am from Houston. We would be junk without James. Look OKC would be junk without Westbrook, but Harden has taken the Rockets to the current 3rd seed and Westbrook has taken OKC to the 7th seed.
Harden is = wins and sadly Westbrook isnt.

Westbrick.
Anybody who says otherwise is saying so... 1) out of hatred for the guy, or 2) they are dweebs who never picked up a basketball in their life.
That guy Westbrick has a gear that very few athletes in history possess. If Westbrook set his mind to scoring 101 in a game, he would do it. His style of play is off the charts. He plays with an agressive anger that you rarely see in any sport and what he is doing this year is beyond remarkable.

I want it to be LeBron, but I'd probably vote Westbrook and Harden over him (in that order).

While I voted for James Harden, if Westbrook were to win the MVP, he'd be the first player since Moses Malone (in '82) to win the award for a team that had less than 50 wins (the Thunder are on pace for about 47-48 wins). And, he'd be the MVP for a team that'll most likely be knocked out of the playoffs in the first round, if they remain a 7th seed, which hasn't happened since Dirk Nowitzki won in 2007.

Westbrook already has 27 points in the 1st half tonight, he's an amazing player. I mean he clearly deserves MVP, he's an amazing player and without him OKC wouldn't get to 20 wins. Most dynamic player in the NBA.

The race for the NBA's Most Valuable Player award is as heated as ever this season, but the two-time defending winner has announced his preference. When asked by Dan Patrick whom he would pick, not counting Golden State Warriors, Stephen Curry chose James Harden of the Houston Rockets."You kind of have to reward the better team, I would think, record-wise," Curry said (h/t Dan Feldman of NBC Sports). "That's just kind of going in the history of the MVP award. So, I think James will probably edge him out just off of that." bleacherreport.com/articles/2697766-stephen-curry-picks-james-harden-over-russell-westbrook-for-nba-mvp
