I think Superman's role will be minimal in Justice League. The film will focus mainly on the five featured members (Aquaman, Batman, Cyborg, Flash, and Wonder Woman) with Clark Kent/Superman shown as a flashback and an appearance in the third act. I also want to believe that the film will leave people asking the question about Clark Kent and his future and how do we explain his death. That will be up to another director to explain.

Well they could keep Clark on the farm as well...... a farmer, and maybe all of Smallville knows he's superman, like the town secret.
Maybe they could extend that to the Daily Planet if they wanted to keep the Clark journalist persona.
Or yeah, they could just Flashpoint the crap out of it.

This would actually be hilarious if they did that so I hope that'd be the case. screenrant.com/justice-league-superman-clark-kent-return/

That is so wrong on so many levels. Minimalizing Superman is something you do, like, two or three variations of the cinematic Justice League down the line... but on the first outing? No. Superman should be one of the leading JL members.

Not to mention how suspicious it'd be if Superman & Clark came back to life at the same time

Not to mention how suspicious it'd be if Superman & Clark came back to life at the same time Well, they kinda already did that in 'Superman Returns' when they had Superman go away for a long time and return and Clark Kent returned to the Daily Planet at the same time and nobody including Lois was suspicious about it. Clark disappearing at the same time as Superman and nobody noticing it just seems to be one of the things that is prevalent in Superman comic books, movies and TV shows.

Hopefully Clark Kent does return and they focus a little more on his life as Clark Kent and the Daily Planet 'cause that was always a big part of Superman and in 'Lois and Clark: The New Adventures of Superman' they used to say Clark Kent was the real him and Superman was just the identity he put on to be a Superhero. I think they made a mistake not making 'Man of Steel 2 and 3' before 'Batman vs Superman' which could have focused more on his life as Clark Kent and had him face some of his other villains like Braniac, The Eradicator, Zod, Atomic Skull, Imperex, Cyborg Superman, Parasite, Mongul, Maxima etc and had the introduction of Supergirl before jumping ahead to Doomsday. Hopefully we also get to see the introduction of his childhood best friend and Lois' cousin, Chloe Sullivan who could take Jimmy's spot in the Daily Planet.

We know now that they shot enough bloody material for it. I'm surprised WB didn't wanna do that.

I really hope they don't do a Flashpoint movie, at least not yet or for a while, because it already sheds light on a few things. For starters, they're not confident with their characters or where they're going with it. It's the same thing with X-Men when they did DoFP. They felt like they screwed up with Last Stand. I actually like Last Stand and thought it was fuckin' ballsy going ahead and basically killing off three main characters, and wish they continued on from that point instead of using time travel. It just seems cheap unless they have a legitimate reason to do so. But also, what about a Flash solo film as well. Doing Flashpoint shows they're not confident in the Flash character. If anything, look how far they've come with the TV show. That should already boost their confidence in doing a Flash film.

My realizing who the real enemy is until the end and they come together. Then in part 2, Dawn of Justice, you see them working together to stop Lex Luthor. Then add Wonder Woman and Doomsday. Even Metallo could’ve fit in there. Then continue on

Some of these characters I cannot see getting their own movie and should remain relegated to the team-up films like Birds of Prey or Justice League Dark.

Not at all, I think it was the best way to introduce them in a film. The writing was the issue. I agree and disagree...the writing was definitely the issue and it could have made the premise work if it had been better. But I HIGHLY disagree that it was the best way to introduce them. Let them disagree all you want, a Superman and Batman who argue is a great dynamic. But a fight to the death? A whole movie based on them beating each other bloody? A Fight that everyone knows Batman will win because you know Superman would never go full out on him? If you asked the average movie goer when it was announced, the first response was "Aren't they friends?"

Some of these characters I cannot see getting their own movie and should remain relegated to the team-up films like Birds of Prey or Justice League Dark. I think if Marvel can make movies of lesser knowns like the Guardians of the Galaxy, Thor, Ant Man, Black Panther etc that most people outside of Marvel comic book fans hadn’t heard of before they got their own movies Warner Bros should easily be able to make movies of these tooand with what was said by Geoff Johns after the success of Wonder Woman about them making more female superhero movies Supergirl, Birds of Prey, Zatanna, Batwoman, Raven and Starfire should be next in that regard since they are the most popular female superheroes under DC. I would love to see Jimmy Palmiotti adapt his ‘Power Girl: Power Trip’ comic books separate from the DCEU just like he is doing with ‘The Monolith’ now under Lionsgate which is a DC series too and Jimmy has spoken about doing it in interviews and wants to make a 'Power Girl' movie and if he can do ‘The Monolith’ I see no reason why he can’t do 'Power Girl' under Lionsgate too.
I'd also argue Supergirl, Green Arrow, Birds of Prey, Titans and Martian Manhunter are far more worthy of their own movies than Cyborg, Shazam, Booster Gold and Deadshot who all have movies in development and Teen Titans should have been made LONG before 'Suicide Squad' since it is DC's biggest selling team comic book series of all time.

A) I don't think that's what Flashpoint is going to be... wiping everything away and starting over? No. I just think that's a title and maybe there'll be some time travel involved (kinda like the Age of Ultron movie was not like the Age of Ultron comic at all except that it had Ultron in it. Like that.)
B) I don't want it to be that. I don't want to get invested only to have it all get erased. All they have to do is start making good movies and the stink of previous blunders will be erased. Look at how everyone embraced Wonder Woman.
As excited as I am to see JL I have o admit that I am disappointed in how Superman is being treated (so far) and that there's no Green Lantern. I mean WTF?
As for JL... yeah, I think Superman will barely be in it, and such questions will be left in the air anyhow.
One Clark Kent solution is... no Clark Kent. He's just Superman all the time. Why not?
