I assumed they would be. Not many directors stay in a franchise for four plus movies.

Just kidding!!1 You know I love you, mang!!!1 You're my #3 favorite one-note gimmick poster here. Innit? Or it innit? Who are "the Russo brothers" anyway? Some losers who take turns watching you when your mom goes out on her "dates" with strange men who make you call them "dad"?

If they want to stop after Avengers infinity war/4 than that's fine by me. It's better to stop when you want to before you burnout on the next film.

Winter Soldier has some of the best action scenes in the MCU to date. Well, way better than Civil War, which were unwatchable to be fair, I think it was the writing, not the Russo bros. WS was relatively character based, small scale and darker in tone (for MCU) and the action was perfectly adequate for that. CW was a logistical nightmare of chaotic, joke-y character interaction and several origin and flashback stories, and the action just reflected that.

From what Brolin said, they don't want to do that again and want to go in another direction. Could just mean make smaller scale movies. Doesn't necessarily mean leave the MCU.

I heard they were moving to Fox and I just wanted them (hopefully) to kind of stay away from the x-men movies. I do not like their straight forward story telling and their cinematography.

Surprised he hasn't been tapped for any DCEU movies. Yates was always a hit or miss. I think his first potter film (Order of the Phoenix) was the worst of the adaption. He did well with Half Blood Prince from a film making stand point by condensing such a complex book to less than a 3 hrs film. And as excellent as Deathly Hallows 2 was, he kind of ruined Voldermort. I also thought Fantastic Beasts was average. I wish he will stop making potter movies, he is almost like Singer from X-Men movies . this men just don't know when to retire and stop getting involved. yeah, they will have some high moments in the franchise but after that it is nowhere but down.
