The critics don't decide which movies get Oscar nominations. The Academy does. And the Academy considers Thor: Ragnarok to be like the Transformers movies. Nothing Oscar-worthy about it. Says...you.
Time will tell.
I like that you think the Razzies are more important than the Oscars. That makes me smile.

Come on now ease up. The DCEU has an Oscar. Marvel doesn't. The DCEU has Razzies. Marvel doesn't. It all levels out. btw, if you forensically retrace this fun little exchange to the root of discord you will not be surprised what or who started it again. If a butterfly can start a storm, imagine what a raptor's bad breath will do. You're right, the thread was derailed again into a Marvel vs DC flame war for no reason at all. That kind of thing has to stop. All he did was post a source of information.

Hopefully they introduce more superheroes. Zac Snyder said in an interview last year when they had plans to do 2 movies the second one was going to introduce a lot of other superheroes and I would love to see a movie with the second lineup with Supergirl, Green Arrow, Martian Manhunter, Hawkman, Stargirl, Animal Man, Adam Strange and Equinox. Leave Batman and Superman especially to their own movies and give others a turn on the big screen!!

I mean, they're both worthless and arbitrary but again: it's hilarious you think that the gag/joke awards would be more "significant" than the meritorious ones taken seriously by at least a bunch of people. That's such a dogmatic cartoon character's view of the world. The Razzies! Seriously, how old are you? I assume(d) you were, like, mid-thirties at least...

What's worse, being great with the critics and making a ton of cash and being nominated (which the MCU has been) and not win one yet...or getting a razzie that shows you're openly disliked?

The first one, clearly.

Being good with the critics and making tons of cash doesn't equal quality. There is a history of critics putting down movies that are considered to be some of the greatest of all time including 'The Wizard of Oz', 'My Fair Lady' and 'The Sound of Music' - all which are considered classics but multiple critics tore them to shreds. Then there is the Horror genre which the critics spent decades putting down and trying to get banned from movie theatres claiming that Horror movies turned people into serial killers. I will never respect any critics after what they wrote about Horror movies and 'A Nightmare On Elm Street', 'Friday the 13th' and 'Halloween' going onto become three of the most popular Horror franchises was payback for all Horror fans.
You might be too young to remember it but read some of the articles the critics used to write about superhero movies and the 'Superhero' and 'comic book' genre in general 'cause I remember a time where critics used to tear superhero movies to shreds too and not for the quality of the movies but they found the entire concept of superheroes stupid and looked down on comic books. Now, look at some of the names who wrote these articles and look at who is writing all the favourable reviews about movies like 'Wonder Woman' and 'Spider-Man: Homecoming' now 'cause some of them are the EXACT same writers who looked down on comic books and the superhero 20 years ago but now they are popular their attitudes have completely changed 'cause they are paid to write what other people tell them to and will sell out in a heartbeat depending on how much money they are given so no, I don't care what a bunch of sellouts have to say about movies since they would say cow manure was the greatest thing since sliced bread if somebody paid them to.

Like you said, history eventually vindicated them. It's like John Carpenter's stuff. The first "Halloween", "Nightmare" and even the original "Friday the 13th" were always seen as good films. It's the endless line of sequels that got worse.

Never brag before you've actually won, DC-Fan.
