The original IMDB has became even more unreliable

Alright so I went visited the old IMDB and checked the reviews for all movies that came out recently with high ratings.
Pretty much the entire first page of reviews is 1 star negative reviews or rants that usually begin with the statement "Worst movie ever","Why is the rating so high?", "Only idiots would like this","Intelligent people hate this"a and "People are paid to give good reviews".
It's like they haven't heard the concept of an opinion. It's really baffling that these sort of unhelpful reviews get bumped to the top. On top of that there are reviews saying they're only giving it 1 star to lower the rating and actually liked the movie. That completely destroys the purpose of the site.
Movies like WW, SMH, GOTG2, Logan, WFTPOTA, Dunkirk, Kong Skull Island, Baby Driver, Blade Runner 2049 and Kingsman 2.
All decent to great movies receiving the reviews mentioned above.
Now the only reliable source left for film criticism is Metacritic.
