Just thought I would share this. Kevin Smith Updates Fans About His 'Arrow' Directorial Hopescomicbook.com/dc/2017/10/23/kevin-smith-arrow-director-hopes/Would you like to see Kevin Smith direct an episode of 'Arrow' and how do you feel about having his villain, Onomatopoeia appearing? I think they should have him. He is one of the few Green Arrow villains along with Hyrax that we have yet to see in the show yet and if the show is renewed for a Season 7 they could use him as one of the main villains.

*eyeroll* Yeah, BatArrow is dark. Green Arrow is a fun character who's not afraid to smile once in awhile. Quiver was a great comic, so I'm not surprised this idiot turned him down. I watched about three episodes of this show and hated every second. (I do like Flash, though)

Marc Guggenheim is a hack with little success to his name. Kevin, to my count (In my opinion), has made three great movies, and written some good comics. They should be begging him to help write/direct the show.

Marc Guggenheim's treatment of green Arrow reminds me of this penny Arcade strip. It's like he goes out of his way to make bad choices and avoid good ones. Which explains why Felicity is still around.

The writing on Arrow and the rest of the Arrowverse is often very bad. I still enjoy the shows but I would love to let Kevin Smith not just direct but write for Arrow.

Well, that's fair. What did you think of 'Smallville' and 'Lois and Clark: The New Adventures?' The latter was huge here in the 90s and I would say those 2 are still my favourite superhero TV show sof all time and I loved Dean Cain and Teri Hatcher together in 'Lois and Clark' and would love to see them make the continuation show they are pushing for.

I only saw the pilot of Lois and Clark, which seemed really cheap. Been meaning to give it another try, though. I actually really liked Smallville, at least the high school era. I stopped watching around the time they made Lionel a good guy. But yeah, I'm one of those people that don't really like Superman because he's "not relatable", but they did a good job of humanizing him here.

I love Lois and Clarke. I never really got into Smallville but would like to give it another try if I ever find the time.

I love Lois and Clarke. I never really got into Smallville but would like to give it another try if I ever find the time. Yeah. I loved 'Lois and Clark: The New Adventures of Superman' too. Even though DC blocked them from using a lot of Superman villains which is why they had a Lord Nor instead of a General Zod and they had to create additional villains like Tempus instead of using ones from the comic books I think the writers did the best with what they had and I remember reading one of the producers said Season 5 was going to have Supergirl and Lana Lang join the show and it is a shame we never got the fifth season. Dean Cain and Teri Hatcher were here in Australia together recently and both of them said they want to make another season to give the show a proper ending and some of the people that worked on the show later said they would be up for it too and I am not against having an older Lois and Clark but sadly Warner Bros will most likely not let them do it since they have 'Superman' in 'Supergirl.' Dean Cain and Teri Hatcher will always be my favourite Superman and Lois Lane. Ohh and I loved Justin Whalin as Jimmy Olsen and Lane Smith as Perry White. His Elvis obsession was hilarious and I liked how they always had him talk about Alice and you would see her from a distance, from behind, to the side and from below but you never got to see her up close.
You should give 'Smallville' another chance. It was a good show and while some people might not like the latter seasons as much as the earlier seasons I loved them and I loved their versions of Supergirl, Green Arrow, Black Canary, Zatanna, Martian Manhunter, Saturn Girl, Doctor Fate, Hawkman, Stargirl, Zod, etc.

Also I agree on Smallville and their interpretations of the other heroes, god I love Hawkman in Smallville he's utterly ridiculous but awesome at the same time, Green Arrow is cool also and I loved what little Manhunter that we got, also I dunno if anyone else liked him but I loved Bart, I also loved how they showed Clark's limitations, he maybe the ultimate hero all around but other characters had him beat at certain things, like when Bart shows just how much faster he is than Clark and how in the water Aquaman has the edge and stuff, it allowed Clark to be the big gun when the team ups happened but also meant he wasn't above everyone else which can be a problem with the characters powers.
Also I love the later seasons myself as well.

'Lois and Clark: The New Adventures of Superman' is a classic and very underrated in my opinion. I actually would have preferred to have seen a 'Superman' movie with Dean Cain and Teri Hatcher returning to the roles in the 00s instead of 'Superman Returns' 'cause I think Dean and Teri were the best Clark Kent/ Superman and Lois Lane and I even liked the pilot more than the Christopher Reeve movies. An animated movie would be fun to see too or a movie on the DC Streaming Service but much like the chances of us getting a 'Smallville' movie with Tom Welling as Superman or the rumoured 'Metropolis' continuation show I think Warner Bros would sadly block any attempt from the former writers, showrunners and actors from making them 'cause they would clash with the 'Arrowverse' and they wouldn't want to have two versions of Superman on TV at the same time along with Superman in the DCEU movies in case it confused people. That being said though, I liked 'Lois and Clark' and 'Smallville' more than the current superhero TV shows and while the 'Arrowverse' isn't awful or I wouldn't be watching the shows I would have preferred the Green Arrow, Supergirl, Martian Manhunter and Zatanna spinoffs they were talking about having when 'Smallville' was on air. I also would have liked to have seen the 'Raven' TV show the CW Network gave the flick to in favour of 'Arrow' when the network changed Presidents and looking at all the shows they have made of 'The Flash', 'Supergirl' and 'DC's Legends of Tomorrow' I think they should have brought back the 'Raven' show and gave it a chance.
I liked Bart Allen/Impulse on 'Smallville' too and I think 'Smallville' was much better at handling superheroes than the writers of the 'Arrowverse' and wish they had taken inspiration from 'Smallville' for Hawkman and gone with an older actor. It is a shame 'Smallville' never got to use Wonder Woman or Green Lantern 'cause I would have liked to have seen what they done with them.
