That twist got me.

I thought it was good, it was let down with the crappy villain. It had the same Marvel villain problem when it came to Ares, maybe even worse actually.
I still prefer Man of Steel myself.

I find WW had an very good villain concept: WW fights the horrors of war and ultimately the nature of human aggression. She naively thinks all that is incorporated by one God, Ares! It's kept a mistery whether Ares even exists (the realist Steve doubts it).
And when we finally find out that Ares actually exists, it's not the enemy but one in her own ranks. And Ares is not the originator of war but just a warmonger benefiting from it. The real reason for conflict is the anatomy of human nature itself, as she puts it in her closing monologue.
Concept and writing wise this is by far one of the most original and meaningful villain concept I have seen in CBMs.

Good. Not great but good. That twist got me. It's the first decent DCEU movie. Thing is, being merely decent compared to BvS and SS makes it look better than it actually is. Wasting the rest of the Greek Pantheon was a bad idea too.
