Just saw this myself. He's now leading the race with the bookies, beating Sean Dyche.
Something tells me he's getting the job, although I had a punt on Eddie Howe (whose odds are lengthening by the day) who I maintain would be a better long-term prospect for you guys.

He's worked out that they are shit scared of relegation. And, In order to avoid that they will pay a big bonus to the guy who keeps them up. And, That is Sam's raison d'etre. And

Shoulda stuck with Koeman. It was a mistake not to find a replacement for Lukaku but who could they get? Hernandez was pretty cheap. Not the best footballer but will get you goals. Mbappe was Neymar were available too.
