I haven't seen Thor: Ragnarok yet but...
Logan - excellent superhero movie from Fox and certainly the best X-Men movie yet (10/10)
Guardians of the Galaxy 2 - not as good as the first, but still a worthy successor in the MCU. (8/10)
Wonder Woman - the best DCEU film yet. Gal Gadot was fantastic and so was Patty Jenkins' directing (9/10)
Spider-Man: Homecoming - the best Spider-Man film since the second one, and Tom Holland was fantastic. Also this might have the best villain in a CBM this year, but I have to see Hela and Steppenwolf. (9/10)

I think SMH was the most balanced. Both WW and Logan suffered from weak villains and Logan (other than X-23) suffered from kinda redundant fight choreography. GotG2 was actually more well balanced than both Logan and WW but for some reason I couldn't appreciate its humor fully. Seemed a bit too crass and mean.

I actually put WW ahead of GOTG 2. I am not some Marvel blind fan boy. They just make better movies right now. I liked Logan a lot, but I might need to watch it again. I have only seen it once and I liked it, but it gets way more praise than I thought it deserved. I go like this:
SM:HC > WW > Logan > GOTG 2
I enjoyed all four though.
I am seeing Thor tomorrow so I can add that later.

1. Logan (damn near masterpiece) 2. WW (a lot of fun and had a lot of heart) 3. Spiderman HC ( meh, it was just okay. wasn't blown away by it) 4. GotG Vol 2 ( horrible. not remotely funny unless you dig lowbrow humor. )
Haven't seen Thor 3 yet and am in no hurry to do so either. But I'll eventually rent it.

I am the freak that didn't like 'Logan' but I'm happy for fans of all three franchises who got something good this year. When was the last year that happened?

At a stretch, 2013 is the best I can see. Iron Man 3, Thor TDW, The Wolverine and Man of Steel. I liked them all except Iron man 3 although pretty everyone was somewhat divisive.

Well all four of those were either just good or average but yeah no terrible movies. This year was much better as all CBMS this year have been either really good or great. If Justice League is solid then this probably will be the best year for CBMS.

Ok so I finally watched Ragnarok, and although I think SMH is still a better overall movie, Ragnarok is just so darn enjoyable that it easily takes top spot.

I haven't seen Thor Ragnarok yet but here's my ranking so far.
Wonder Woman Logan Guardians of the Galaxy vol. 2 Spider-Man: Homecoming
Definitely looking forward to seeing where Thor Ragnarok and Justice League end up.

I'll respectfully disagree. Here's how I rank them:
Logan>GoTG2>WW>SMH>Ragnarok
I enjoyed Ragnarok overall (especially any scene with Jeff Goldblum). It was fun and vibrant, but I was a little let down by certain elements of the film (that the other films did better). I feel it lacked character depth and the fight scenes lacked intensity (the characters being too invincible and all).
Just my 2 cents
