difficult, my favorite is Logan, but writing and filmmaking wise:
WW (7.5/10) > Logan (7.4) > SMHC (5.5/10) > Thor: FraggleRock (5/10) > Guardians: RaccoonTurdVol2 (4.5/10).

Tried watching Homecoming last weekend. Took it out after 44 minutes. I thought it was almost over but when I checked and there was over an hour left I gave up. Holland was the worst part. His overacting was really annoying. And his friend Ned wasn't funny at all. I don't get it. I mean, I sat through Batman v Superman and I hated that fucking movie. SMH wasn't even worth a hate-watch. ^same here, had troubles getting through it. It's a depressingly low-creativity re-regurgitation for the fanboys and children, and there are a LOT of them. But at least it has some heart and writing, and that makes it the best of the 3 MCU movies this year (sans the 3 abysmal MCU shows such as Inhumans). Raccoon Turd Vol2 and Fraggle Rock are juvenile throwaway jokes and pop farts for the easily amused. And there are a LOT of them.

Well, Logan only got a good reception because it was Jackman's Swan Song so everyone went easy on it when it really didn't add anything new. WW got a pass for being a decent flick about a female Superhero.
Ragnarok and SMH are good, unashamed fun. They won't appeal to folks who are into that "grounded" bankrupt approach, and SMH won't appeal to fans who hate the idea of Spider-man interacting with any other Marvel characters because they hate the idea of a Shared Universe.
As for GOTG2, it's an acquired taste. If you're into basically a big budget version of Farscape or Firefly, this is it...although the Guardians predate both.

Logan >>> Gotg2 > WW >>>SMH > Ragnarok
Basically, the more it appeals to children, the worser the movie.

SMH was better than WW and GOTG 2. I have not seen Thor yet. I keep hearing this kiddie talk when people mention Marvel movies. hat about WW is so mature? It was a decent movie, nothing great, but decent.

Logan >>> Gotg2 > WW >>>SMH > Ragnarok Basically, the more it appeals to children, the worser the movie. SMH was better than WW and GOTG 2. yeah for an intelligence age of below 12 (you are right with Raccoon turd 2 though). Spiderboy6 meets Iron Man is the proper re-regurgitation for the easily amused. oh I am positive you will love it, it's essentially Fraggle Rock, without substance and pandering randomly to 80s nostalgia and lowbrow joke fests. Ask the Oscar Academy! Does it really need to be spelled out? Just from a writing perspective, it depicts the horrors of war relatively maturely compared with other CBMs (infamous laser fight battles, Hail Hydra Nazis etc in Cap1, Robo-Nazis is Hellboy). The WW violence has consequences and stakes (such as villages gasified and protagonists dying). The protagonist with her naive world view realizes she is wrong about the root of evil and the anatomy of human aggression. It also interplays well with the historical background of WWI (women rights movement etc). This is not a serious War Drama like Dunkirk but quite mature and well written for a CBM. Now compare this to: Hahahah, I have famously huge turds, aaaawww, my sensitive nipples, create a penis, poo-poo head, or some of the silly-funny Thor quotes. You were saying...? QED

QED No. It is a CBM and a decent one, but not some deep or meaningful movie in any way. It is basically a cross between Thor and The First Avenger. How does the violence have stakes? It does not. She can run through No Man's Land and no one gets hurt. No one even gets touched. Above all, movies like these need to be fun. SM:HC was more fun than this. I know DCEU fans like to praise WW because it is their first movie that people actually like, but that does not make it some classic. I actually prefer Man of Steel. Movies like The Avengers, Iron Man, The Winter Soldier, X2, and DOFP are not even debatable better.

I'd go with
Logan Thor Ragnarok Spider-man Homecoming Wonder Woman Guardians of the Galaxy 2
The last three are all very close as are Logan and Thor.

He thinks silly stuff like "Love will save the world" and a generic arc like "Naive Woman-Child becomes less Naive" somehow are meaningful. And that because the Germans used bullets it makes for stuff like strength enhancing magic gas. Meanwhile ignoring touching stuff like Drax's monologue on the nature of beauty because he doesn't like that they used the word "turd" 4 times or asked questions about how a construct could reproduce.

1. Logan (masterwork on Nolan level: cult classic)
2. Wonder Woman (even passed the GF-test, milestone)
3. Thor 3 (dumb, but ok, tonal issues)
4. Spiderman Homecoming (What's the news here except IM, but solid film for kids)
5. Guardians otG Vol2 (turned it off)

Logan only got a good reception because it was a great film and Jackman's best performance as Wolverine and also his career. Fixed. Fixed.

The thinking part of the world and the Academy (bling bling) share my view that (while not Shakespeare) is more meaningful than childish nonsense like "I have sensitive nipple", "He could be your "David Hasslehof" or "I'm Mary Poppins yall, is he coool" [no Disney advertising intended]. But let's literally compare the end monologues regarding the loss of important people, shall we: Star Lord on the criminal guy who kept him for child labor, and who despite all that is really "his daddy" of the heart: Or WW on the guy who sacrificed himself for her out of love and the real nature of the human condition: I rest my case. The rest is silence.

It was a decent movie, nothing great, but decent. Theres not much between SMH, WW and GotG 2 although the latter had the best villain and more elegant ending which counts for a lot. Films like WW and Logan are mature because they have better drama and dont constant make jokes during serious moments. When you watch Thor, youll see because its peak MCU and not in the good way.

Not just I samy, not just I. Yeah, lots of pretentious people in this world. Naturalistic dialog that sounds like something a person would say. Especially a rogue-ish type. Naive woman-child because slightly less naive woman-child whose upset that a guy she barely knew died even though he'll be back later. And end with a fluffy self-important monologue.
