And... I really enjoyed it. Easily the best of the Thor movies, and quite possibly the funniest film of the MCU. Taika Waititi was perfect to direct this film, and his wild imaginiation really comes through here, with the trippy designs and some of the gags and location names The Devil's Anus, Grandmaster uses a ship for orgies, Skurge names his guns Des and Troy, because when put together, they destroy . The cast really deliver here, including Goldblum, Blanchett, Tessa Thompson, Karl Urban, and Taika Waititi. Each character delivers hilarious gags, and the gag rate never slips, this being a Taika Waititi movie, and the film's main gladiator tournament doesn't disappoint. Worth a watch if you want a fun two hours at the movies. A worthy addition to the MCU.

I agree it was better than any of the previous Thor movies. The action scenes were well done and the comedy, though over the top, was amusing, though it did get a little tiresome. I felt they were shoehorning in Planet Hulk and Hulk vs. and because of that it was disjointed and superficial. Also, the Karl Urban character? Why? He added nothing. Did they just want the name linked with the movie?? Like I said, I enjoyed it but was expecting better.
