I doubt we'll see R rated properties on a Disney streaming service...

The reasoning behind this is likely to prevent the possibility of a repeat of situations like the X-Men and the Fantastic Four. Not having to manage or police deals with third parties will free up the Disney legal machine to do what they're desperate to do - reunite all of their IP under one roof.

Well of course they want to stream all that stuff on their own service. Why share the profit?
On the other hand they have enough properties that I might be tempted to get their service: Marvel, Star Wars and Pixar alone would amazing, not to mention whatever else they'll throw in. And their original programming could be just as good as anything the other services create.
It might be good. But yet another service...? Ouch.

Oh I'm sure that they'll going to put a lot of content into their stream service. They already said that all Marvel and Star Wars films will be on there. They also mentioned that they'll put a lot of classic films as well. If they changed a reasonable price, I'll probably subscribe to it.

"Sources suggest". I think I'll wait for something more credible before I put much thought into this.
