I still don’t get why they couldn’t just go with Black Adam as the villain. They already cast him anyway.

He was the one who found Black Adams tomb. It ended up messing up his eye and he is able to see magic with that eye. So the build up so perfect. We all just want to see Black Adam because The Rock has been casted for a while.

If the 2011 film had actually been successful, he probably would’ve still been playing Sinestro. He was pitch perfect casting. I bet they're gonna recast him with someone like Luke Evans. It's sad that he brought his A game to GL 2011 when so many other elements were half-assed. IIRC correctly, he even insisted that his Sinestro resemble the comic book version rather than a more barbaric, Klingonesque design the producers wanted to go with. Good at least if he's sticking with DC. I suggested years ago on IMDB that I'd like to see him in the DCEU, maybe as Abin Sur, as he's normally depicted as a bald humanoid (rather than the odd few versions where he's more alien/demonic looking), and he wasn't recognizable in his Sinestro makeup, and bringing him back as Sinestro would be out of the question as it would imply a DCEU connection to GL 2011. As for Luke Evans, I hope those Sinestro Rumours are true, if they want to humanize him a bit before making him an outright villain. If they go with classic, fanatical Sinestro, I could see someone like Jason Isaacs, he already voiced him in Emerald Knights, plus he even looked a bit like him in Soldier.
