Hulk was done absolutely brilliantly in Ragnarok, and on multiple levels.
One, he can speak. He's been the Hulk for at least two straight years, and due to the long term nature, he's learned to speak well, although he's clearly not very intelligent.
But even more interestingly, is that Banner realizes that such long term transformation has allowed his body to treat the Hulk form as a normal state of being. He's gotten used to it. And he's now fearful that further transformations will result in permanently being in Hulk form, because the Hulk form will exist even in a calm state.
That's a rather deep character evolution arc that takes a huge stop down the character arc we've already seen with Bruce learning control in previous films.
Great stuff out of Ragnarok.

The music was cool Jeff Goldblum was hilarious I loved that and a lot more. The rainbow bridge battle with Hela throwing them out into space was cool as fuck, Surtur destroying Asgard was epically awesome, and the arena battle was one of the coolest things in comics. I absolutely loved Hulk's development. It makes so much sense that now is the time and circumstance where he would start to develop, and I'm extremely interested as to what it means for the future of the character.

I was thinking he’d get into a relationship with the Valkyrie girl. In the future, she could die and World War Hulk could happen.

It's funny you say that because in some ways Valkyrie was an amalgam with Caiera. In fact now that I think about the fact that the comic version of Valkyrie was shown dying in that flashback, then the one we got in the film really was more like Caiera just with the backstory of being Asgardian. Of course she wouldn't have the old power.

She won’t love the Hulk version so much I think, unlike the wife from WWH.

Supposedly there is a Hulk arc getting ready to play out so I think there is something brewing there. I'm kinda thinking they might try to give him a kid with her. A hulked Asgardian? FUCK
By the way, as far as I know we never got her name in the film. I almost want to say they're waiting to see how the relationship plays and her name is actually Caiera. Wouldn't surprise me.

I have no problem with that that being her name but a child, NO WAY! That would suck.

I'm more thinking he's forced to give Jennifer Walters that transfusion.
