Just what I thought we would hear:
editorial.rottentomatoes.com/article/justice-league-buzz-its-not-perfect-but-its-fun-and-entertaining/
Here’s a sample of what critics are saying on Twitter about the much anticipated team-up:
Justice League is better than Batman v Superman and Suicide Squad — it’s lean, mean and packed with superhero action. I dug most of its lighter moments and I think it has one of the best action sequences ever in a DCEU movie. And of course Wonder Woman steals the show. I think if you are going to a Justice League movie to see all your favorite DC heroes rocking their skills and being the badasses you love, then you will get plenty of that. Lots of action. Lots of superheroes being superheroes. – Erik Davis, Fandango
The good: Justice League is my favorite DCEU movie. It will make you love its heroes and want to see them team up again. The bad: Justice League rushes through a lot and its main story/lore and villain are rather stripped down and forgettable. – Rob Keyes, ScreenRant
Bottom line: Justice League is awesome! Zack Snyder’s film is filled with so many moments that had me geeking out and crying nerd tears. When an action scene/hero moment hits, the film is firing on all cylinders. Still love Affleck’s Batman. My fav Batman actor since Keaton. – Kevin McCarthy, Fox
I am genuinely happy to report Justice League is a lot of fun. It’s not perfect and has its problems, but does the job of making you care about these characters as a team by its end. It’s also VERY funny, in lots of unexpected ways. – Terri Schwartz, IGN Movies
Justice League is clunky and uneven as hell, but it also gets the characters right and has a lot of fun along the way. When it’s over DC’s vision for these heroes going forward will make sense. It’s a very small but very vital step forward. I dug it. – Connor Schwerdtfeger, CinemaBlend
I saw Justice League! Here’s what I thought. There are ton of things I’d change but it comes down to this: I had a blast! I got to see the team together and I had fun watching it. Ezra Miller steals the movie and Wonder Woman was perfect! – Jenna Busch, Legion of Leia
Justice League is fine. It’s more coherent and less idiosyncratic than Batman v Superman (which I loved, so make of that what you will), and tries very hard to lighten up on the gloom and doom of the DC universe. There are jokes and everything! – Angie Han, Mashable
Justice League is better than expected, but not a home run. The interaction between the team is a lot of fun. The film sends the DCEU in a hopeful direction in line with where the brand should be headed. Flash and Aquaman steal the show. Cyborg and villain are the weak links. – Peter Sciretta, Slashfilm
Justice League is okay! It’s fun. The characters are enjoyable and cast has good chemistry together. I want to see more from them down the line. It looks like a Snyder film but sounds and plays like a Whedon one. It has lots of issues, though…but the good news is that Justice League entertains. If Batman v Superman turned you off then consider Justice League a palette cleanser. – Jim Vejvoda, IGN Movies
Yeah, so in no way a great film but it sounds watchable, has fun action sequences, good chemistry between characters, and jokes and fun. A lot on emphasis on the jokes and fun. Isn't that what a lot of DCEU fans hate about MARVEL?

Those sound exactly like what is said about every MCU movie. So if the ratings are fair, then it should be 90+%. If it's below 90+%, then that proves once and for all that critics are biased in favor of MCU when it comes to ratings.

Isn't that what a lot of DCEU fans hate about MARVEL? So then Marvel fans should love this!!! Actually it sounds like it has very little story and no character development on top of questionable CGI. And it follows a story I already don't care about because it's been terrible so far. I haven't seen it yet obviously, but so far that doesn't sound like something I'd like.

If it's below 90+%, then that proves once and for all that DC really can't get its act together and WW's reception really was just due to Artificial Boosters.

Wasn't going to be long until kingshit here starts using that argument. I'd believe you except Wonder Woman is sitting on 92% on RT. Kinda squashes your argument that they're biased.

I haven't seen top much of the reactions but from what people are saying. Between, the humour, weak villain and thin plot, it's basically just turned into a Marvel movie.
I was happy enough with Man of Steel. Batman vs Superman went too far in the wrong direction though and I kinda figured they'd change the tone up to be a bit more Marvel like.
I didn't want that to happen though otherwise they'll feel the same.

I think it's a stretch to say they have weak villains given how many great ones they have, but most of their plots are very good and some are as complex as it gets. The MCU doesn't deserve to be treated like it's just some simplistic mindless nothing.

I do agree with what they say about the villains though. These are some of the top comments on IGN right now. "Funny, weak villain, thin plot...sounds like a Marvel film" "Lame villain? Weak story? Great heroes? No stakes? Funny? Fun but flawed? They did it. They finally made a marvel movie." "Weak CGI check Weak villain check Jokes check Fun check So DC copied every Marvel movie ever made you still complaining." "Well looks like they succeeded making DCEU marvel. "fun but thin and a bland simple villain" You could plaster that over almost every marvel movie and everyone would give it a 9/10." "i thought only MCU had weak villains, and yet Steppenwolf is 7th in a row that sucks in DCEU, what happened?" At the very least the weak villains is very common knowledge amongst people. There's all articles and everything on the internet about it.

I've never understood how Whiplash with a dark past, brilliance and brutality, and all the motivation and skill to challenge Tony is a weak villain. Cross was solid with a solid backstory and creepy portrayal. The Dr. Strange villains were well presented. Don't know why Ronan needed to be anything more.
I mean I could go to classic villains in films like the Godfather and make these same complaints. We didn't get a backstory on Viril Sollozzo. He sells drugs overseas or something and comes over here and wants to sell more drugs. How one dimensional is that? And no backstory on Barzini either. Gee wiz, the Godfather has such a villain problem.
It's just this completely overstated issue. On a scale of 1-10, it's like a 2, and people make it sound like an 8.

Vulture didn't overshadow Spider-man and he was considered a good villain. So that's not remotely true.

Terminator 2 had a villain problem because it was just a mindless robot. Taken had a villain problem because they were just one dimensional sex slave traders. Dirty Harry had a villain problem because we never learn why Scorpio is killing people.

Judging from the Youtube video's I've watched where they discuss these early reactions (Collider, SchmoesKnow, ScreenJunkies) I've heard multiple claims that Flash possibly steals the show which is alarming to me as I haven't liked anything in regards to him from the trailers. AquaMan is awesome, which I'm iffy on the more I've seen. I loved the original trailer's interpretation of him slamming down a bottle of jack while the waves crashed and now the newer trailers make him seem like a clone of Swayze from Point Break which I understand but comes off as cheesy and not what I personally was wanting. Also more praise for Wonder Woman.
If I were to predict a RT score (though I never understand why people focus so much on it) I'd go with a 78% Fresh.
Video sources for those interested
Collider:
Schmoes Know (1 Hr 50 min Mark) They discuss possibly lowering your expectations going into it.
Screen Junkies (30 Min 26 Sec Mark):

The only thing that REALLY worries me right now is the fact that pretty much everyone has said that Steppenwolf sucks.
I really had high hopes for his character.

Quote: Translation: yeah the antagonist really sucks MCU balls. Better go in with very low expectations, this is about character and team building.
