Some JL reviews are coming in and so far they seem to describe a film that's sort of ok, but nothing particularly special. Kind of a take it or leave it vibe.
How do you feel that will factor in to the performance of both films when JL opens next weekend? Have any comparisons to the Avengers been drawn yet? Is JL a leap ahead of it or is it more like Avengers 3.0? IMO, WB shouldn't have made this movie if it was going to be anything less than a home run. The JL's first appearance on the big screen shouldn't inspire middle-of-the-road reactions. "It's a lot of fun," is a euphemism for go see it if you're bored. Has anyone remarked on the overall team dynamic? Well I think it's already pretty clear that it isn't going to have anywhere near the impact that Avengers did. And yes, I agree, the reaction tone so far seems to be that it's somewhat enjoyable but nothing impressive.

We'll see what the actual reviewers are like but this mixed response has caused predictions to drop. www.hsx.com/security/view/JLEAGCurrently predicted at $287 million domestically. The lowest of the DCEU movies. It's actually quite realistic that that actually happens and that would not be good at all for DC.

Do you find it credible?

Do you find it credible? Well it's just used by other regular users like me and you (though interested enough in box office to sign up) and it's basically just the average prediction which goes up and down all the time. Usually when trailers come out or now when reviews start to come in. It just gives an idea of what other people think expect it to do. It's not like Deadline or anything.

So the nature of the reviews drove the prediction down. That's very curious. Any idea how many people are making these predictions?
