Add Joss Whedon to the mix and this is a recipe for disaster.

Add Joss Whedon to the mix and this is a recipe for disaster. That isn't one of the reshot scenes. It's ALL Hack Snyder.

I seriously hate the lame comedy of the MCU and GOTG2 was as bad as it gets but whereas I didn’t find Thor hilarious, it was passable. I didn’t hate it. If I like Justice League more I’ll be very happy. But I am not responsive to Whedon’s shenanigans at all and Zack has his own issues. I’m just saying, this could be really bad.

THAT is what interests me most regarding this film: A product of two flawed, and very different cooks! Will it be the best or the worst of two worlds? Or maybe just a serviceable mess?

I’m guessing serviceable mess. The only other potential game changer is Danny Elfman’s soundtrack which supposedly utilises John Williams’ Superman score. I’m not usually a fan of Elfman but at least it’s different to Hans Zimmer who’s contribution to the DCEU has been rather generic. At least Thor had a readically different soundtrack to most CBMs.

You can't trust the "opinion" of Mark Hughes. In the pantheon of DC dick suckers, he has his own office with a view of the harbor.

At least Thor had a readically different soundtrack to most CBMs. only to a very small subordinate degree, at least on the sountrack. I just remember the dramatic Superman opening motive cords, but not the actual Supes fanfare theme song (may be a spoiler thing). Soundtreck utilizes the WW and original Elfman Bats theme too. It's passable, but it's still noisy Elfman.
A serviceable mess, maybe reflecting the movie well. Lots of soundtracks do.
