Come on guys, I've seen loads of you give Justice League 6s, 7s, 8s, 9s even. I've seen plenty of you rate it higher than Ragnarok. What makes it better than Ragnarok? You don't need to start there if you don't want. Tell me why it is better than Ant-Man, Thor 2, Iron-Man 3....take your pick.

Seriously? Not one answer in 8 hours? I'm going to have to assume that is because the answers would be something like - "Cause Batman." "Cause Wonder Woman." "Cause the DCEU is more bettererist than the stinky MCU." etc.

......explain to me how Justice League is better than a really bad MCU movie. It's not. But a bad MCU movie is probably a 7.5. Which is what I rate Justice League... it's definitely not a 4. Not sure what you are asking...

Off the top of my head, JL is probably only better than Ant-Man, Thor 1 and 2, and Iron Man 2.
JL has better characters and performances as well as a more memorable score. I also like the action in JL (at least the vast majority of it) better than the MCU movies listed above. JL never truly dragged in the middle like the movies mentioned above did.
Regardless, all five movies are pretty flawed.

When Odin speaks the enchantment into Thor's hammer it gave me chills. "Whosoever holds this hammer, if he be worthy, shall possess the power of Thor." Outstanding.

It was cut, he actually said - "Whosoever holds this hammer, Dai Bach, if he be worthy look you isn't it, shall possess the power of Thor, iechyd da ."

The first Thor is a wonderful tale of redemption. Branaugh did an excellent job directing it. Preach it sister. When Odin speaks the enchantment into Thor's hammer it gave me chills. "Whosoever holds this hammer, if he be worthy, shall possess the power of Thor." Outstanding. The point of the banishment wasn't to punish, but to teach. That line about forgetting everything Odin had taught him. DC fans like to bitch Thor learned humility too fast, but it wasn't learning it. All Thor had to do was REMEMBER. "Oh yeah. The old man was right all those years." And Loki's genuine pain. Abandoned at birth by his birth father. Discovering he is the monster Asgardian parents scare their children with to make them behave. Loki is a deep black hole of needing acceptance, not the world conqueror just because he wants to conquer world's Steppenwolf. Loki as Odin on the throne in Ragnarok was not to conquer but to be adored. When the ship arrives to save the refugees, Loki once more is trying to present himself as savior. He wants to be accepted. And what we saw in Dark World & Thor was Thor was the one person who always loved & accepted his brother with no strings. In Dark World he states he wishes he could trust Loki. He mourned his brother's death (even though it was another trick on Loki's part)

Thor 2 is a fair comparison as both movies basically have the same villain (obviously Malekith wins in the aesthetics department as he doesn't look like Minoton from "Sinbad and the Eye of the Tiger"). That sentence is worthy of a pause for thought - DC's flagship superhero movie, Justice League, is more like Thor: The Dark World than The Avengers . I'd still prefer TTDW because the pacing is much better, scenes have more of a chance to breathe and it doesn't feel as though everything had to be crowbarred into the suitcase while Joss Whedon sat on top of it.

I never got the hate for Thor. It is a great movie and one of my favorite MCU movies. However, The Dark World is the worst MCU movie. The funny thing is that it is still better than BvS or SS.

I'm tempted to go back and watch Thor 2 again. I thought the original was better upon rewatch, but I haven't seen Dark World since it was in theaters. I remember thinking it was stupid and overly reliant on humor from every cast member. Ragnarok oozes humor from every cast member and it's amazing. It really makes me wonder if Dark World won't seem so bad now. Of course the villain will still be garbage, but who watches for the villains, anyway?

Fair enough. I can see why people hate JL. I just happened to mostly enjoy it.

I just think it drags in the middle and it's not all that ambitious in its storytelling. I do like most of the action and the banter between Thor and Loki, though.
