100%.
He's out. He would be fine with the Batfleck jokes if the movies were considered successes, but I think he takes the critical drubbing a little hard because he was considered a joke for so many years.
But I DO believe he will work with them to make a graceful exit...

No one can expect him to waste that time on a beloved but, problematic franchise.

The biggest problem is that unlike most other DC heroes, there has never been a long-lasting second Batman. Dick Grayson is the only option, and they haven't introduced him at all. So that makes the Reeves Batman essentially him re-connecting with Nightwing, establishing a connection between them, then having Bruce hand over the cowl at the end. This probably means they have to bring in Bane again and have him break Bruce's back...seems the most "graceful" without just killing Bruce.

He probably wants to restore the good will he earned as a director and actor before Live By Night was such a financial flop. If that didn't happen, I think he'd have thicker skin about the DCEU's reception and continue on as Batman.
