What I mean is its a box office disapointment but it appears people can apperciate it. Justice League is a popcorn film. DC fans are going easy on it because it features characters they like. The number one compliment the film receives repeatedly is that the characters are strong. If anything, I think Thor Ragnarok will end up with a reputation as a big-budget cult film. Where else will you see a world with a rainbow bridge and a giant wolf on that bridge flanked by undead soldiers and an Asgardian warrior wielding duel M-16 assault rifles? It's straight off of an eighties Metal album cover. All of the elements are so disparate, and yet they made it all work. Someone saw the inherent absurdity of the scenario and ran with it to brilliant effect.

All the DCEU films seem to have one. Wonder Woman was a bona fide hit though so that may be the exception, perhaps?
