Awesome news everybody. It appears there is a new DC video game on the way and it could be the long awaited sequel to 'Arkham Origins!!!'
As a lot of fans of the 'Arkham' series already know there was a big gap between 'Arkham Origins' and 'Arkham Asylum' where Dick Grayson become Robin and Barbara Gordon become Batgirl and there were a lot of storylines in 'Arkham Origins' that were left open, we didn't get to see the origins of Two Face, Poison Ivy, Clayface, Harley Quinn or Ra's Al Ghul and there were dozens of villains that were mentioned and had their own profiles in the four games like Prometheus, Great White Shark, Ratcatcher, Killer Moth, the Ventriloquist, Maxie Zeus and Humpty Dumpty that we never got to see that we could see now!! As a huge fan of the 'Arkham' Series I am very excited to see we might be getting a new Arkham game and I would also love another game set after the events of 'Arkham Knight' with Barbara becoming Batgirl again with the addition of the Spoiler, Orphan and Batwoman (who was mentioned in Arkham Knight but not seen) as playable characters and what I would love to see is the full 'Gotham' with the addition of Bludhaven this time with a day and night time mode. 'Arkham Knight' was originally meant to have the entire 'Gotham City' and the creators planned to make all the areas from the previous games available to explore but they had problems with fitting the Batmobile in it and said if they made it so the Batmobile fitted the game would have had to have been delayed again so they dropped it but a new game they can do it and add even more.

BATMAN: ARKHAM ORIGINS Developer WB Games Aims To Expand The DC Universe In Future Video Games
A job listing by WB Games, developer of Batman: Arkham Origins, calls for "expanding the DC Universe" in future video games. Will it be a new Batman: Arkham or a totally different DC Comics-based game?
It would appear, based on a new job listing, that developer WB Games Montréal is looking to expand the DC universe in the video game space. The listing, posted on Facebook, calls for a Technical Director "to lead our team of programmers" and "join a passionate team working on expanding the DC universe in the interactive space."
WB Games Montréal previously worked on Batman: Arkham Origins - the prequel to Rocksteady's Batman: Arkham games - which received relatively lukewarm reception upon its release in 2013. Other DC projects from the studio include the enhanced Wii U port of Batman: Arkham City as well as Batgirl-themed DLC for Batman: Arkham Knight.
Exactly how the studio plans on expanding the DC universe remains a mystery, though. Given the developer's history, a new installment in the Batman: Arkham series seems like the most obvious candidate; but, it's also possible they are hiring for a game based on a different DC Comics character, like Superman - a game which has been rumored to be in development and has even had assets leak online. Who knows, with the popularity of Wonder Woman on the big screen maybe the developer will take "a chance" on a game based on the Amazonian Princess.
It's important to point out that the DC characters we've played as in video games - and their stories - are completely separate and unrelated to what we've seen unfold on the big screen in Warner Bros.' DC Extended Universe. With many DC fans disappointed in the direction of the DCEU, perhaps WB Games can breathe new life into the DC universe and our favorite comic characters through video games. The question now is what exactly the studio is cooking up for its "new IP project for next generation platforms." Is it another Batman: Arkham game or something totally different?
What DC Comics character do you hope to see WB Games Montréal bring to life in the video game space?
