Yeah, I wouldn't doubt that hip-hop hand gestures are really common in photos. It's amusing to think about people 100-200 years in the future looking at all of that. Who knows, but with those fighters it might be sorta a way to beef up the other guy they are pointing to or something like that.
personally i never point in pictures as it just seems kinda pointless. but then again i don't usually appear in pictures.
