Not surprised. How often does the sequel make more than the original when it's released 1-3 years later?

If you say so, DangerS... a 200m ow and 700m or so domestic total should be good results, below that may be a disappointment

The marketing has been relatively bad in my opinion.

The marketing has been relatively bad in my opinion. How so? I've seen nothing on it. They had a bunch of car commercials a few weeks back, but nothing else. Then they had the cast go on the Late Night shows two weeks before the release. No one remembers that. They also haven't shown much of any actual footage on TV either. They don't need to show new stuff, just take some cool parts from the trailer and make a 30 second TV spot for football and basketball games or something. Obviously it's a Star Wars movie, so people are going to go out in droves to see it anyway. It's just not as well-marketed as TFA was.

I know I've seen some film footage and Star Wars-related advertising a few times on TV without looking out for it. Maybe you just weren't watching the right channels.

Hoping this movie "flops" is like hoping Saudi Arabia becomes a democracy.

It seems every third commercial I see has a TLJ tie-in. When I go grocery shopping, every aisle has product tie-in. I will say that it doesn't seem like trailers are ubiquitous, but the product tie-ins certainly are.
