Amazingly, DC fans just sucked it all up ... and came back for more with Justice League!
The studio execs might be unhappy that almost all of their DCEU movies have been savaged by the critics, but the silver lining to all this is a core audience who will pay to see virtually anything, regardless of how dreadful.
Just keep the budget within reason and you can still make a pretty penny.

Can we add "Made villains worse than MCU villains" on the list?

Can we add "Made villains worse than MCU villains" on the list? The thing here is that I think they were quite benevolent with the list. They seemingly didn't want to be extremely harsh with DCEU and include trash like: Pa' Kent the Hillbilly Tornadocidebut more than anything: MARTHA!

And one of the worst lines in all of movie history.
“Oh, I'm not gonna kill you, I'm just gonna hurt you, really, really, bad!”

How can the absence of 'friendly neighbourhood' Superman in exchange for lameness that was Man of Steel not be on that list.
I can't even blame Cavill, he was dealt a very poor screenplay.
MoS was the reason they rushed Batman into its 'sequel'. An aged Batman no one wanted, with rushed JL dna all over the place. Had they got Superman right in the first place, we might've had a finer decade of DC.
Now I don't want any part of it until 2020+

I could say a few but I will stick with two.
1) Screwing over DC, the creators and writers of these characters by employing novice Hollywood screenwriters to write the movies over far more experienced writers like Paul Dini, Gail Simone, Marv Wolfman, Tim Seeley, Peter David, Chuck Dixon, Jimmy Palmiotti, Scott Snyder etc who have all offered to write (and wrote scripts of) movies for them in the past. If Warner Bros actually let DC make their movies they would be winning now but they chose to rely on inexperienced Hollywood writers to handle their movies. 2) Poor choice of characters.

You'd think someone paid to write an article could get Christopher Reeve's name right. Otherwise agree with everything. #5 knocked SS down a whole rating for me.
