Well now that Firestorm both Martin and Jax are gone, what happens now? The show totally misused the Firestorm character. He is one of the most powerful heroes in Dc but he was mostly useless on the show (as are the other heroes on this show).
I think they need to add another new hero to the team. The group they have now is not well rounded enough in my opinion. I also wouldn't mind seeing Hawk Girl come back.
This show also needs to give more credit to the powers these heroes have in general. Sara can fight and all the others just seem to have the power to push people out of the way and that's it.
The show is a lot of fun but there is so much more they could do with these characters. I wish they would put more effort into it.

Is Jax actually gone too? I thought he was staying on, or do you just mean he can't become Firestorm anymore.
Assuming Jax is still going to be on the show, I partly expect he may suddenly find he can become Firestorm on his own.
There is so much more they could do with Legends than they do. All of the characters are poorly fleshed out, and underutilized. I would prefer Sara be on Arrow as Black Canary. I always thought she fit better there, and if there was a that I would think she could be a strong, effective leader for, it would be Team Arrow, not a bunch of bumbling time travelers. I'd like Rip to be back full time, maybe bring Booster Gold on as a regular and explore their comic book stories and relationship.
Barring that, I think putting Mick in charge and forcing him to make the tough decisions and not repress his training as Chronos could lead to some good character growth for him.
Elongated Man could make a nice addition, especially if he meets his future wife Sue, and the two travel together. It would be an especially interesting dynamic with Ray on board, and he becomes friends with both of them; with allusions to the possible Identity Crisis future.
Wally might work well on Legends. Two speedster on the Flash may be difficult to write for, but putting him on another show would keep him around and active, without making him redundant. What could be really good is if they took a page from the Rebirth story and firmly establish this Wally as his own, unique character, separate from the iconic Wally West; and therefore entitled to a future that hasn't been told by any writers yet.

At the end of last night's episode Jax left and it seemed like it was permanent. Or at least as permanent as anything is on these shows.
I like your ideas for adding new characters. I also think they need to get rid of Earth-X Snart. What an annoying character he is. Earth-1 Snart was awesome.

Oh yeah, I forgot it aired last night; I hadn't gotten around to watch it yet. Too bad about Jax; I didn't mind him, but I can't blame them for writing him off. They never had much for him to do.

Just finished this week's Legends; not terrible, at least in comparison to other episodes. Still a bit too much cheese, but the climactic battle was decent. Interesting concept with the animatronic doll being mistaken as a deity to people who don't know better; it walked a fine line between groan-worthy and plausible. I was wondering going in, with this being the midseason finale, if Jax's departure might be framed as something they would turn around and bring him back when new episodes resumes, but it does look to be for keeps - or at least for now. Good departure, for the most part.
I've never cared for Wentworth's take on Snart; something off about his cadence with his dialog. His performance as Citizen Cold was intriguing in the crossover, but right off the bat in this episode it was too much with the puppet, and the heavy handed interaction with Mick. On the other hand though, Mick clearly does have a drinking problem, so it was disappointing to see a) that it was the B story and not given much driving force behind it, and b) Leo does an about face at the end, saying it was 'wrong to try and change him'. Sure, Mick has to want to change, it can't be forced, but this seemed more like a tacit approval of his problem; that it's part of who he is, and that there's no problem, when there definitely is.
This episode also brought up something interesting with the Time Bureau that I had hoped would be addressed, which is the fact that they're subject to the changes to history; so how can they be expected to effectively protect or fix changes? They were aware of the level 12 aberration, yet were fully integrated into the altered timeline as to celebrate Bebo Day, and then later Odin's day; so from their perspective time is as it should be and they wouldn't be inclined to change it or even know how. When Sharpe called Bennett, I was expecting her to report that, from their perspective, there was no change to history at that point in time; and subsequently why they weren't going to issue any support. And how did Sharpe's memory of what holiday they celebrated change, but the other "legends" didn't?
Sharpe and Sara are so totally going to hook up...

I agree stargazer1682. I would like to see more superheroes used in 'Legends of Tomorrow' too and depending on how many years this show goes for I think they should have at least 2 or 3 new characters every season 'cause that would give them a chance to use a wide variety of DC's superheroes. I would like to see Zatanna, Doctor Fate, Booster Gold, Blue Beetle, Lady Blackhawk, the Spectre, Red Robin, Power Girl, Animal Man, Swamp Thing, the Spoiler, Dawnstar, Green Lantern (any), Phantom Lady, Red Hood, Misfit, Azrael, Deadman, Cyclone etc appear in some episodes and most of all I want to see them use more villains 'cause there are a ton of DC villains that would be great to see in live action but instead the writers use Damien Darhk three seasons in a row.
Regarding the current team I think Leo is there to replace Stein for the rest of the season and John Constantine might replace Jax but I have a feeling they will get Wally West for that.

Legends is my least favourite of the shows. The show is fun and full of potential. I'll give it that and I can tolerate some of the characters but it is wasted on woeful storylines that don't make a lick of sense and half the time I am wondering what the fuck the team are doing. It could be better but the way I see it the producers have made Legends the D show. The show where all the writers they didn't think were good enough for Supergirl, Arrow and The Flash go.

No more Damien Dhark. Kill him off this season or we are dropping this show. He is like a bad fart that doesn't go away and just when you think he is gone he comes back again. Is this their way of making him a more hated villain?
