while our president
is busy
proclaiming yet another holy city
as the birthplace of
true freedom.
our senators
were shifting funds around faster than a hooker changes outfits
at a republican national convention.
in hopes that
our hard earned tax dollars
will keep
their wives from finding out
just
how much they
truly love
serving the people.
