9.4/10. A great movie that I consider to be the most ambitious summer blockbuster of all time.

5/10. There's really good things about it, but also really stupid things. Overall a disappointment.

4/10. Prolly worse than any of the DCEU movies, although I haven't seen WW or JL yet...

While I give TDK a 9 that is much closer to a 10, I give TDKR and Batman Begins a 9 that is closer to the 8, with the edge going to Batman Begins. BB has aged better in the 12 years since release. TDKR has the most flaws of the trilogy, but in my opinion has the beast villain of BB and TDKR.

While I enjoyed Hardy as Bane, this is something I wonder about if the studio did get its way for once. Apparently they wanted Leonardo DiCaprio as the Riddler. Nolan said no.

5/10 - This was a surprisingly weak film, and to clarify, I've never had any interest in seeing it a second time.
The idiot cop was just a stall tactic. The whole film would have been over in 15 minutes without him being an idiot. The public stock robbery is a completely retarded plot device. Zero chance those transactions stand, it's ridiculous to even pretend they would. Why is Bruce having retired for 8 years interesting? No reason to have skipped that much time when the last film clearly set up an under siege batman film that they apparently just decided to skip. Why is he hurt btw? Am I supposed to believe that fall at the end of TDK somehow hurt him that bad and he's never recovered in 8 years? And Batman & Gordon aren't even in this movie. They're constantly hurt. Bane gets weaker the entire film. The city being under siege with nothing really happening was boring as fuck. This film was just so plain while pretending it was TDK the entire way.

It was all downhill for Nolans trilogy. BB was awesome, The Dark Knight more than ok and TDKR was mediocre.
