I liked parts of the first two movies, but then they descended into silliness at times. The first half of Insidious is genuinely very scary. The third one was quite poor without James Wan so I don't have high hopes for this.

Blatant rip-off of Poltergeist, and that wasn't even a good film, IMO.

I will watch anything with Lin Shaye in it, love her. I really liked the 1st Insidious movie. The 2nd was a fun mess like The Last Exorcism 2. I mean a tranny ghost playing boggle... I still need to watch the 3rd.

I love Lin Shaye. She is one of my favorite Scream Queens. I agree. The scene in Dead End (2003) where she dies is one of my favorite scenes in any horror movie. I also really loved her in Helen Keller vs Nightwolves.
