I think I'm giving it a 10/10. Yes, it has a few minor flaws, but the highs of this movie are just so high that I still can't believe it. I'll probably watch it again soon so that may change my grade, even though I doubt it.
I'd say the first half of the movie is an 8/10 and the second half a 10/10. If you look at it like that I'd say 9/10 would be reasonable, but that second half was just so good that I makes the entire movie work.

I think The Last Jedi is the final movie that needed to deliver in order to call 2017 one of the best years for movies of the 21st century, maybe even ever. No matter what kind of movie you like there was at least 1 great movie in that genre this year. I still have to see many of 2017's movies like The Shape of Water, but just look at this list of movies (in order of release):
The Lego Batman Movie John Wick: Chapter 2 Get Out The Girl with All the Gifts Logan Raw T2 Trainspotting Colossal Your Name The Lost City of Z Baahubali 2: The Conclusion Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 Wonder Woman It Comes at Night The Beguiled The Big Sick Baby Driver Okja A Ghost Story Spider-Man: Homecoming War for the Planet of the Apes Dunkirk Atomic Blonde Detroit Wind River Good Time Logan Lucky It Mother! Battle of the Sexes Blade Runner 2049 The Florida Project The Killing of a Sacred Deer Thor: Ragnarok Lady Bird Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri Paddington 2 Coco Darkest Hour Call Me by Your Name The Disaster Artist The Shape of Water Star Wars: The Last Jedi The Greatest Showman Downsizing The Post All the Money in the World Phantom Thread

I'm thinking about the movie again because of the mixed audience response, but I honestly don't feel the same about the things people disliked about it. I thought that maybe I loved it just because I wanted to love it, but that's not true. I didn't have this much fun and emotions and constant edge-of-your-seat moments during a movie in a while.

I have a couple *minor* complaints. 10/10 nonetheless. God, people are being such little bitches about this movie.

Aside from some pacing problem, I thought this was great. Possibly my favorite SW film since ESB. Hamill was great, and I was a fan of the Rey / Kylo Ren conflict. Also the Porgs are the most useless "sell merchandising" thing I've possibly ever seen, but at least there screentime is short. All n all pretty terrific. - 9 / 10

4/10. I like how Johnson took some risks, and some of them really paid off, but most of them fell flat. I just felt nothing but disappointment while watching this movie.

In all honestly, it's more of a 9/10 for me (maybe a 9.5) because I do have some problems with it. 1. Rose... 2. Rose completely ruining the sacrifice of Finn which could've been a fantastic scene 3. Purple Haired Hag 4. Space Leia 5. MCU jokes in the opening
I LOVED everything else and I'm gonna keep it at a 10/10 to even out this score.

If the jokes were pulled back a bit, Rose wasn't a character, Finn sacrificed himself, Space Leia didn't happen this would've been a perfect movie.

I'm also not the biggest fan of Rose ruining Finn's sacririce, but maybe a bit of anger about that moment is what Johnson wanted us to feel. Still I would've preffered it if Finn's sacrifice actually happened. I'd give it a 9.5/10, but it's closer to a 10 than a 9 for me.

I'm liking space Leia a bit more now I've thought about it more. But still it looked weird in the movie so I'll probably need to see it again to make a final decision on that moment. Those are pretty much the same issues I have with the movie, but the other moments are so good that I can forgive them for including these moments.

After much thinking I think this is my #3 Star Wars movie behind Empire & A New Hope. I'm going to have to see it again but it's #3 for me as well. That last hour though was truly a magnificent experience and the best SW has had to offer. Idk how these online "scores" represent real life; the last hour had the entire audience leaning forward in their seats and some of the moments had people clapping, cheering, and wowing. The scene where that lady (forgot her name) blasted apart all the ships in that glorious silent spectacle is possibly the coolest thing I've ever experienced with a audience. Everyone was in complete awe. I cannot wait to see this again.

I was in a packed theater and sometimes you can hear people eating or talking a little bit, but during those 10 seconds it was completely quiet, instant goosebumps. I don't know how representative the online scores are of the general consensus. Everyone I've talked to in person so far loved it and the polling of audience's of Cinemascore & Comscore gave an "A" & a 5/5 as the most voted grades or ratings. We won't know for sure until more and more people see it, but maybe the hate against this movie is less big than the internet makes us believe it is.

I'd give it a 6.5, but I decided to be generous and go 7.
Many things bother me about the movie. A lot of it was pointless screen filler. Some of it was just silly. But there was good stuff as well. I liked it overall.

After thinking about it a bit more I have to agree with salomonj that's it's probably more a 9/10 than a 10/10. There are a few things that bug me a bit too much to give it a 10/10. Still probably my 3rd favorite Star Wars movie.

10/10. This was a great edge of your seat space adventure that was pure fun. It is a great new chapter in the amazing Star Wars saga. A group of loud whiners on the internet who think they are the arbiters of all things Star Wars are not going to change the fact that this is an incredibly fun ride.

I give it 9/10. I liked it more than the prequels, TFA, and Rogue One. I'll admit the pacing is a bit slow at times (it was about 20 minutes overlong imo), but it picks up in the end.
Haters are gonna hate, period. Don't care what anybody says. TLJ was a great addition to the saga. 4th best SW film for me after the originals.
