Been listening to a lot of XTC lately and perhaps their most famous song is Dear God:
Long time fan of Bon Jovi and the wrote an underrated song called Hey God off probably their most underrated album, These Days:
Then there's the immortal Bob Dylan. Probably my favorite song of his is about God called Every Grain of Sand (an allusion to William Blake). Only video I could find was a live version that's not nearly as god as the meditative studio version:

Nice choices. I've also been on a prog kick recently going through Yes and King Crimson--in particular the new Steven Wilson surround remixes. Jethro Tull is up next.

I always forget about that Sabbath song... perhaps because they have the reputation as one of the first, iconic "satanic" metal bands that it's easy to forget that despite everything Ozzy was/is indeed a Christian.

I'm a longtime fan of Yes. I would post side 1 (The Revealing Science Of God) from Tales From Topographic Oceans, but I doubt many people have an extra 22 minutes to listen to Jon's interpretation of a footnote in Paramahansa Yogananda's autobiography. So I'll post this one which is open to interpretation. I think the line, "he is here" refers to God within ourselves and "we have Heaven" is the realization. I don't actually believe any of this. I'm just musing. And I love the song.

Yeah, the song, after forever, is pro God. The only atheist I know out of them is Lennon, just thought I'd post them anyway.

Yeah, Jon Anderson was quite the spiritual dude. Tales was basically his magnum opus on the subject, especially Revealing Science... We Have Heaven is definitely a lovely track. Two more Yes-songs (lol) that could fit are Awaken and The Calling (Talk is the only Rabin-era Yes album I really like... terribly underrated):

Good one. I spent a good, solid month listening to nothing but Prince when I heard about his passing. Just reminded me what a genius he was.

Yes! Can't beat Waits megaphoning "I know Jesus loves me" into a microphone backed by a banjo, bare-basic drums, and whatever that keyboard thing is!

(I removed your vids in this response because I've recently learned on the Music board that too many vids in a thread make it sluggish and slow to open)

Awaken is definitely up there as well. Only thing that bugs me about it (and the entire Going for the One album) is the production, which has that late-70s, echo-ish, Arena thing going on. I prefer the live version on Live at Montreaux. Understandable. I do the same thing in video-heavy threads.

Yeah, Jon Anderson was quite the spiritual dude. And probably still is
Was a huge Yes fan back in the day. Most of Anderson's lyrics are basically prayer. Songs like 'To Be Over' and the coda 'Our Reason To Be Here' took a bit of altered state to realize he was literally singing to something.

Been listening to a lot of XTC lately Incredibly underrated band.
And you know it's true.
We should chase superstition and fear from our hearts,
If we're going to survive and take levels of sanity higher.
If Partridge could've overcome his stage fright issues they could've been so much bigger.
